Honey, I never wanted a boyfriend in high school either. All those guys were jerks! (At least so I thought then.)
I took three years off after graduation at 16 to work and decide what I wanted to do with my life.
When I went to college at 19, I found out that the mentality of these guys had improved greatly in the interim, and they were actually worth hanging around with. I found myself VERY popular with guys because I could converse with them intelligently, and I was always willing to play whatever sport was going at the time (but NO, NOT that one!-dirty mind).
When I graduated college at 21 I went into the Armed Forces. Where again I found myself having to turn down umpteen dates just so I would have time to study.
So, my point is, high school may be a dry time for every person that is only considered "ordinary". But once you have moved beyond the childishness of high school, and left behind the cliques, the outside world has a rich deposit of guys who think that "ordinary" girls are extraordinary.
Don't give up hope yet!

No I felt the same way. I didn't lose "it" until i was 18. Mostly because i felt pressured. And what a big mistake that was because I wasn't ready. I'm 20 and have had 2 b/f's. One I am currently with. The first one taught me (from experience) what I did and did not want so i was picky now i have a great boyfriend while my other friends that had 50 b/f's in high school are miserable and still don't know what they want. Basically wait until you are ready and know what you want and something bigger and better will come along.

you know what, you'll come into your own at your own time. i am out going and attractive but scared all the boys away in high school because at the time i had to be the tough *****. i felt the same way you do. but i ended up joining the army and realized that there were guy's out there that could actually keep up. some times you just need a new environment and other times you need a bit of confedence. the military gave me both. but if you're thinking about joining, just don't turn into one of those "sleep around girls" it's hard to lose that sort of lable. i had a great time flirting but wouldn't go so far as to sell my self short by doing that. you'll find your grove, but don't stress it too much just be your self have fun and have confedence. good luck chicky.

of course its not bad.... but you should ask yourself why you havent had a boyfriend.
are you scared? not ready? had trauma in past?
if you are scared/not ready, then chill out.... but if it is for some other underlying reason then counseling might help.
but im pretty sure youre perfectly fine... if youre just scared shy, then all i have to say is there is a first time for everything, and you might as well just get over the jitters. Also though, when you do get a boyfriend he will probably appreciate you more and respect you for doing what you feel is right for you.

I'm in high school and I've never had a boyfriend. That's okay. Someday that 'perfect guy' will come along and he will be your true love (Please excuse my extreme cornyness). I think it's kind of nice never having a boyfriend because when you are out of school and ready to start a commitment, dating will be new to you, and a lot more enjoyable. Don't worry though. You'll be fine.

I never dated in high school. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Some people just start dating later than other people. Do you like a guy? Or just shy? You have to answer what to do yourself. My advice is not to worry about it and be yourself. You're still young and have plenty of time ahead of you to date guys. Just relax, be yourself and have fun.
