well my gf broke up with me last march after we had been together for about 2 years. . . she started hanging out with this guy i knew from hs the next day and she knew i hated him and she proceeded to mess around with him like a week after we broke up which was really inconsiderate to me. The reason for the breakup was that she wanted to date around and she said she knew we would get back together sometime. Well it has been almost a year now and they have been together ever since(even though only officially for about 6-7 months) but anyways . . i tried to get her back for the first 2 months and it wasnt going anywhere so I went nc in june and i have been ever since. for the first 6 months she would try calling, texting, emailing . .anything to try to get me to talk to her. . even emailed me on our anniversary that said "today was 2 years" . . she would try to contact me on average every 1-3 weeks for 6 months. she even tried to get me to hang out with her . . continued below

First of all, she was dumb to make a statement like, "I know we'll get back together". I had an ex break up w/ me and I told her I didn't want her to call anymore and she said, "if we don't talk, that means we'll never have a chance to get back together". I told her that she already made the decision to never get back together when she broke up w/ me. Just tell her straight up to stop calling, it's getting on your nerves. Don't worry about her feelings, because she obviously wasn't too worried about yours when she started dating the other guy right away. Don't be angry, just be firm and let her know that you don't want her as a friend, and to stop calling. This will be good for both of you.....she'll stop playing with your emotions and at the same time she'll realize that it's over, and she can't sweet-talk her way back into your life. I've never taken a girl back after she's broke up w/ me, and I never will. They're not worth it.

Hmm, sounds like she's trying to keep you around. She's probably trying to keep in contact with you, so that your feelings for her won't go away. And that somehow, you'll still want her, and she may get satisfaction out of that. It probably makes her feel good that she has a boyfriend, but then by her trying to keep you, then she may feel she's still got you, and always will. Idk it's kind of confusing to explain. Point blank, whatever way this girl is acting, and if she refuses to admit it, the girl still has feelings for you. If you two broke up, and she jumped into another relationship, then she did not have any time to get over you. There may still be potential feelings there. She is probably trying to get to you, so that you'll fall into it, and this is what she wants. By doing this, you'll be off the market and will be single, in hopes that you'll get back together with her. Though I may be wrong, but from an outsider's point of view, this seems to be what she is trying to do.
SO, do not fall into the trap. It's good that you have not spoken to her since. Keep that up. And I would suggest that you move on and possibly start another relationship, that way she will get the point - that you're over her. It'll hit her hard, and she'll definitely be jealous.. and she'll hurt. But ya know, who cares, because she hurt you & karma's a b*tch, right?
Hope this helped.

Sounds like she's insecure and wants to keep you hanging on as her back up plan in case anything ever happens with her current guy she knows she'll always be able to run back to you and you'll be waiting with open arms. Sounds like an attention whore to me. If she hasn't gotten the hint yet there's not much you can do except keep ignoring her. If the call and emails bother you enough change your number and email. Good luck!

Dude. Let her go. Sounds like drama you don't want in your life! If she's all over the place like that, you can bet she'll never change.

Find a girl who's more into monogamy... some guys don't have a problem with women like this. If she's a nympho or something, it may be a nice set-up for you if she wants casual sex off and on with you, but that's something you need to be able to handle (and secure with).

Good luck man. Love sucks.

She was playing games with you with that other guy from the start. Although she broke up with you, she missed having you (or someone for that matter) like you so she pushed him onto you.

She's trying to contact you because she misses your attention. She was thinking, "Omg, he's still trying to talk to me? Can't he get it? I don't like him!" And then as soon as you stopped she went into insecurity mode and said, "Oh no! Why isn't he still trying to talk to me? Am I unattractive now? Has he found someone better than me? I know I don't like him but could he have found another girl way cooler than I?"

Stuff like that. Don't bother with her.

Maybe she wants you to be jealous and hang on, just incase things don't work out with her new guy she can fall back on you.

Or maybe she realizes she made a mistake and doesn't know how to say it.

Not sure, you know her better than any of us :)

Keep doing what you have been doing and move on with your own life.

Good Luck!

Personally, I think that she's just trying to mess with you you should contact her and say "you have a bf so stop bugging me i can see ur happy with him and you should move on with or with out him"...

She really does want you back originally she was giving you tough love, you did not bite the bait, so now she has to come real which is letting you know she would rather be with you than him.

She's selfish, just wants to feel like you still care. I don't think it would even be healthy for you to have a friendship at this point.
