What happens if the reason that he fell out of love with you because you weren't yourself or the person he did fall in love with in the first place. I wasn't myself for the last year (we were living together this year) of a 3 year relationship because of me being scared of losing him. I did extreme measures to make him happy, like being available to him all the time, letting him do what he wants avoiding any serious conflict (basicly losing my independence and identity). The reason why i did this was because he had committment issues in the past with me which made me think that if did everything to make him happy i won't lose him, but then he dumps me teliing me that he wasn't happy in the last couple of months and doesn't feel the same way by doesn't know why. I still love him and I regret in what I have done (in my case in losing myself first and then second, losing him)

ok heres wats happening.
1.i know her for 4 yrs, she know me for 4 yrs thru fren, but nv met.
2. we only got to know each other 2 months ago thru dat very fren who got me to know her during an unplanned supper.
3. we only met 4 times, but everytime is with a grp of frens.
4. its her 24th bday this friday

I recently said:
I got with my ex while I was getting close to another guy. The guy said he's not mad because he didn't have a 'claim' on me but it changed things. He said he likes still likes me but things are different. He doesn't say the same sweet things...he says he's not sure about how he feels but still maintains that he can picture us together. He says he needs time to figure things out.
How would you feel? How bad did I mess up? Should I feel so mad/sad at what I did?Do we stand a chance? Should I give up? Anthing else you want to tell me.... (By the way...I let go of the ex right after the incident...does that change things?)
UPDATE:
I should also add that this happened a couple of weeks ago. My relationship with my ex lasted 3 years. I became friends with the other guy when my ex and I broke up in September but we got back together. When we finally ended it in December, I began getting closer with the other guy. We admitted we liked each other in February.

I have what I would call a controling mother. I am 22 yrs old and I have a 6 month old child. My mother doesn't approve of my new boyfriend who I have been dating for 2 months claiming that I spend to much time with him. I live at my mothers house b/c I work part time and I have a car payment. My mom picks fights with my bf and he never says anything out of the way to her. Now she has started this "oh well he gave me a look" crap. I am so tired of it and want to get my own place, but I'm scared I can't afford it. I can't keep living this way though. While I'm at work (3rd shift) she watches the baby. If she wakes up crying my mother calls me and makes me listen to it. It breaks my heart all she wants is a bottle but my mother doesn't care. She believes she should be sleeping through the night. Now she is threatening to not let my bf come over anymore (trying to punish me). Should I move out? How do I do it tastefully without it being a huge fight?? How can I afford to move out???

i am 25y/o male. I really like this girl that i have known for a few years. Last year we started hanging out alot. I eventually asked her on a date but said she was busy at the time. A few months pass and we started becoming really good friends. I later heard from a close of mine that this girl i liked had a boyfriend. No one knew she had a boyfriend up until we started hanging out. Even though i have never told her that i liked her she knows i do because of our mutual friends yet she still hangs out with me twice a week. when i dont see her for a few weeks she emails me asking where i have been. Alot of my friends have been telling me to just make a move. I respect the fact that she is in a relationship so i am affraid to make a move and ruin our friendship. We have been through arguments and so called " breakups" but we've always stayed together. Shes been trying to get the point into my head lately that she needs her space, that I dont have to get pissed if she makes plans with someone other than me. So last nite, we get into another argument. I said some hateful things and grabbed my stuff and left there believing we could be finished. Now she has always stayed with me and I feel if I just give her her space this time she will come back and realize wht we have together. Is this a reasonable assumption considering she feels i am always over her shoulder? Would it be wise to let her come to me, not call her or see her for a while until she calls. and HAS THIS APPROACH EVER WORKED FOR ANYONE? And trust me, she is the type of person that needs her time alone after a bad argument and i never have respected it.

i've been talking to this guy for a year now and dating for 2 months in that year. now recently we became bf/gf. this past weekdn we were making out and we ended up on bed. he had only his boxers on and i had everything from the top off ONLY-nothing else. we ended up doing this saturday night and sunday night and both those days I had my pants on and told him i was not going to go there with him and he respected that. he felt my chest and i felt his bottom part. he's 26 and im 27. did i do the right thing? something tells me i did and the other part says i didnt. will guys ever respect me for doing things? will he think im easy even though he was the first guy i've done this with? help, i need advice on what i did. did i lose respect? dignity? the day after he said he was sorry for taking it far but he loved me regardless and still feels like marrying me in the future. he promised not to do what he did until we marry. am i less of a woman for doing what i did?

i used to love dis girl secretly. for some reasons i had to hook her up with my best mate. because she was a friend and she told me she liked my best mate. i thought i could handle the consequences of it. but I'm absolutely rubbish at handling situations. i ended up losing friendship with both of 'em. i went through a terrible time. but i think i have got over her. now..i want to get back the friendship i once had. tomorrow's her birthday. i told her to have lunch with me tomorrow. she agreed because she wants to b friend with me as well. she is going to bring her boyfriend( was my best mate). now my question is.how m i going to act in front her? what do i talk about? and what do i buy for her? please help.....
