I have a very hard time time doing it, and I've never had a gf (I"m 20) how did you learn, why haven't I?

Just be yourself. You aren't the only one that gets nervous...women are human too. Some women find shyness kinda cute.

i learned from watching the other guys talking to their girls in High school and that information has been key to knowing how talk to girls.
basically its like this (i dont know how to talk to a girl that i have never seen before but im working on it) but like for a girl in school just introduce yourself (first day of school is the best time for that) then just ask small questions such as "what school did you go to last year" and a few other openers and if she is responding and asking you questions about you then you are clear if not it just doesn't work

Practice. Just pay attention to what you say, how you say it and what how she reacts. Learn from your mistakes and don't dwell on them. If you are focasing on the fact that you made a mistake you will miss the lesson. Just go out and talk to girls of all ages and types and don't do it for sexual reasons at first. Try making friends first because that is a lot easier. Also read this.

Read girls magazines. They have a wealth of information about what girls/women like, worry about, what they think about guys ect... Then try using this information in a conversation with a girl.
