Why can't men ever admit when their wrong?

I could prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that I'm right and he still wont admit it!

Pride. That's one of the features we don't want to give away. To some men, that's all they have. Admitting we're wrong will crack our "pride". Even though we know we're wrong, we'll try find out a way to make it seem as if we're right.

Why can Men admit when they are wrong? I think that Men for the most part,have this idea that they can never be wrong, because some, of them not all, think they are superior to Women, and if they are wrong come hail or high water, they will never admit to it. But, I guess that Men say the same think about us, Women. We, have the advantage on them when it comes to arguing on getting our point across, we, will never back down, and I am talking about me, I can out shout my Husband big time when I am right, and he always gives me the benefit of the doubt. so, do not despair because all it takes is perseverance on the Woman's part.

?? even if there's a chance i'm wrong i'll admit it. Drawing conclusions without all of the facts and making it into a truth, is not such of a very bright man.

In life, though; two conlusions can be the right answer depending on who's doing the judgement, and both can be wrong too. What really counts though is that you can see each others points of view also be able to respect and interact within them. That's only my opinion of course ;)

First of all, I think women confuse getting things their way with being right or their way is THE ONLY way to do things. There are often more than one way to skin a cat.

Second, a lot of men don't want to admit they're wrong just to aggravate their wives. I do that sometimes. It's fun.

Why is it so important that he admit it? It seems like the same kind of stubborness to want him to admit it as it is for him not to admit it. It's just a weird thing about human nature that we act in these ways. It's better to let it go than to turn it into a battle of wills. IMO it's not important enough. Hopefully he is better about more important things, and so it really shouldn't matter.

Too proud and scared that he cannot be the Alpha male - Mr.Knows it all and Mr.Can do it All to protect his sweetheart.
He knows you're right deep down inside but it's too hard for him to admit it. Men LOVE a good challenge or competition.It doesn't matter if it's their friends or their lady. They want/need to win.

there was this girl i knew and if you told her the sky was blue she'd fight you and say it was purple she was/is the type of person that just has to be "right"
