everyone in the world can hit on you so you are used to not having to try, but the one person that you want and have to work for doesnt want you? weird how that happens...anyone else know the feeling?

I believe in unconditional love but only when it pertains to one's children. We put conditions on every other relationship we have, but our children can do anything and we will still love them. I don't believe in unconditional love when it comes to marriage, there are definite conditions that we both must adhere to, to maintain & nurture our love.

Ok. Teacher asked Kenny " If I give you 2 cats, and 2 cats, and 2 cats, how many cats do you have now?"

Kenny replied " 7."

"Incorrect," said the Teacher.

Techer tried this another way. " If I give you two apples, and two apples, and two apples, how many apples do you have now?"

Kenny replied " 6."

" Correct," said the teacher.

" So If I give you 2 cats, and 2 cats, and 2 cats, how many cats do you have now?"

" 7," said Kenny.

Can you tell me why Kenny said 7?

I know this girl who she mostly talks about her and HER problems only on the phone, to me...never really asking me how I am doing or how I feel. She was in love with her boyfriend, and when he dumped her, all she could do was trash talk him and so on. Now she keeps on telling me how she wants to be his friend, and so on...though he most likely cheated on her, HAS always lied to her,etc. She says she thinks he's okay, but I want to tell her that she's falling into his trap! She won't listen to me though. What can I do?

My boyfriend and I just broke up last week after 4 1/2 years. We are in mutual agreement that our relationship was not working. The only thing is, I would still like to try to work through our problems... and he doesn't. I have made a huge emotional investment in him and I am so heartbroken. I am having such a hard time dealing. To make things even harder.. we live together. It is going to be at least another month before he can move out. During this time, is there any thing I can do to feel better? It is so hard to focus ongetting my life back together when I am still seeing him every day and I know he is just an arms length away. I can't sleep and I don't get hungry, no matter what I do I find myself thinking about him and almost cry. He sees how much I am hurt and he holds me, tells me he is sorry and that I will be OK but this just makes things worse for me. What can I do to feel better?

Why is it so hard for me to find someonw to fall in love with???? Seriously I own my own 4,800 square foot house in metro Washington DC (Great Falls VA), I even allowed my current girlfriend to bring her cat into my house, I also bought her 2 carat diamond stud ear rings a Rolex Yacht Master Platinum watch and an Acura RL fully loaded plus the fact that she lives rent free. I'm scheduled to be married, this September the 27th and have been getting some seriously cold feet... Mostly due to her messed up family, terrible state of finances and a sexual problem that's making sex not too enjoyable. I'm also not sure anymore that I can live with her 16yr old son without going insane.

How do I know if I should really call the thing off? I wanted to just put it on hold for a while, but she says that if I'm ever going to want kids we have to start within a year because she's almost 38 and will be too old to have them soon.

I'm 34 and have no children. She is very nice to me and loving and everything. If she were a little younger, had a better family, no son and was self lubricating she would be the perfect woman. What should I do?
