Hi. My girl dumped me 5 wks ago (after going out 7 mths) as she said things had changed between us. I tried to convince her not to split but she wanted to do it.

I decided to keep contacting her was a bad idea. It would give her time to herself. She contacted me to say hi and that she had some of my stuff. She wanted to bring it over.

We spoke on the phone and decided to meet up for a drink. How do I play it. I want to come accross as interested but not pushy! How long should I let things carry on for before I ask her to get back with me?

Should I call stuff "dates" or "as friends" or just not say anything about why we are meeting??

I have my wedding date planned for New Year's of this year (yay!). BUT...I just found out that my fiance's friend has "stolen" our wedding date and is also planning his wedding for the same day (He knew but claims he didn't) !!! And to make matters worse, I just found out my cousin is also getting married (in another city) on the same day as well!!

I am not trying to be stubborn, but I feel like my fiance's friend has "stolen my thunder". I should not be expected to change my date when I picked it first!. Also, their wedding sounds like it will be horrible, and I want to be the one to do it "right". I have always been set on this date. I don't want to be "second" in line.

My cousin's wedding is a valid issue....but I am not that close with that side of the family (or any of my family for that matter), so I am not sure how I feel if they don't come. I can always have a social later.

Should I change the date (NY's 2008?), or should I go ahead with my original plans?

Help!!!

I was just in an abusive relationship and was raped constintly and i jsut got a divorce and now i was just raped a total stranger. I have 2 beutiful daughters and would just hate too see this happen to them. Im catholic and im trying to leave it up to God but this hasen't been working. Im now on the pill but i have to go off because of my religion. I love mmy kids to death but i just can't keep up like this. I thought about finally asking my lady of 10 years to marry me.. only one problem. My mother does NOT approve of her at all. I am 34 and live at home with my mom. My mom has always been supportive but told me if I ever married her, she would kick me out of her house. Basically I love my mom and need a place to stay so my girlfriend of 10 years has to go... mom knows best right?

Well I broke the news to my girlfriend and she's not taking it well at all, constantly crying and paranoid. Why is she acting like a big baby? Can't she find someone else?
Isn't long overdue she gets the boot to the street?

Sorry, gotta listen to my mom. Thats how it works, hope she understands.

I've been dating this wonderful guy for 8 months. he def. has emotional problems after some woman broke his heart about a year ago after a 6 year relationship. he gets really depressed alot and says it has nothing to do with her, but i somehow feel that it does. we've stopped seeing each other in the past, but we've just become so attached its hard to not talk to or see him. he's 8 years older than me, im a senior in college and he says he feels like he's hurting me. The other day he threw this crazy fit (crying, screaming) telling me he wasnt good for me and i wasn't good for him, that he needed to be alone, and that he couldnt promise me a relationship. He said his ex really damaged his self esteem. I really love him, and wish he could see how great he really is. we eventually made up, but didnt come to a conclusion. i keep thinking about it. i'm on a break, and went away for a week. its been 4 days, and i havent contacted him. i dont know what to say to him anymore.

I have already read some of the responses to my first question. Okay here's a little more info. I have been dealing with this for a long time. I have been trying my *** off. I have told him to go to a doctor. We have talked about this problem. Four years ago he found out a horrible family secret. His step father sexual abused his sister. I have been there through it all plus raising the children pretty much a lone. He is a teacher and football coach. It is either playstation or work. He will play these stupid games for five hours straight, while I cry feeling alone and not loved. But then I kiss another guy and he says I do not understand how much he loves me. I really do not understand, and I am pretty smart. The irony is I am a Psy. student at a major university and already have one degree. Please help I do not truly understand.

Hi guys,

I am a 28 year old guy getting married in 3 months time. I am a virgin and have saved it all up for the right one ! I am quite anxious abt the first time sex . She is a virgin too. I am afraid I will endup and get wet and finish very quickly the first time and that the first time will end sooner than it started .

Any first time similar experiences of you guys ? Any fiascos? Does it get better with time ?

My mate Lenah met Hunter a yr ago thru a store which the guy manages & over-time they've become quite close.1 day he lended her CDs & ever since then they have been sharing their stuff with each other cds,books etc. He even asks her 4 her advice\opinions on things. He gives her discounts & free stuff.1 time they spent almost an hour or so just talking customers would be walking in & out & still they'd be talking away about whatever. I thought it was quite cute hehe What i've noticed is that whenever she walks instore hes always happy 2 see her he could be serving a customer & she'd walk in & he'd be like "Oh hey mate" & she'd be like "Hey dude watsup? & away they'd start 2 talk I think they suit actually but yeah. Theyre so comfortable arnd each other u can see it I think theres something there btwn them do you guys think so?

What is the etiquette for this? I want to get my mum and my partners mum a small present to say thanks for their help in planning the wedding. What can I get? Neither wears jewellary, flowers no good as one travelling from abroad.

Hi,

I have seen a girl around campus that I think is really cute.
She knows this, as a friend that I know told her this. We have chatted a little but I know very little about her, today is the first time she said hi to me, after finding out that I said she is cute? Should I see it as anything? It started with her complaining when she was standing in a line to get food, that she is in a drought(with guys) I turned around and said her time will come. She laughed. A few days later, I was checking her out, and my friend told her I am admiring her(blind) I asked her about the drought and she laughed. Then today, I saw her standing in a line to get food, and she saw me, smiled, and its afterwards that a friend told her I think she is cute. After that she said hello when I was walking past her. I said hello back.
Any advice?
What do I do now when I see her around.
I don`t even really know her name.
Does this mean anything. I tend to stuff things up because I rush too quick.

Okay, my husband and I have been married for eight months and dated before then for more than four years. It seems like when we got married, his "drive" plummeted while mine skyrocketed. I can't help it i find him even more attractive now! I am a good wife to him, but I am so tired of wanting to be intimate more than him. He brushes me off like it is nothing. But, when he wants it, omg you betta just stop what you are doing right then. It's good when we are intimate, really really good. However, I'm living with a man who is satisfied with it once or twice a week, while i could do it every day! But I would be satisfied with 3 or 4 times a week. I have tried to spice it up, but if he is not in the mood, i might as well forget it. But he doesn't understand if I'm not in the mood when he is. I don't want to climax by myself, i want to be with my husband. Both of us are young, healthy and in our 20's with no children and none on the way. Please help!

My gf always says things to jealous me, hurt me, and will do anything to make sure i dont get happy by any way from her.
inspite, she gives so much pain, i still luv her.

Whenever i try to break-up, i cant - simply coz i luv her.
I also waited months for her to change/talked about it but she never will change and i am sure she like me getting hurt from inside.

Am i fool? to still not breaking with her?
How the hell shall i make my mind understand to let her go..... ?
