She is 15 and has many problems both medical and psychological. I told her that she would be running away from her problems and that would not solve them. I told her to sit down and TALK to her mother and whoever she is having a problem with. I also told her she needs to get her emotions under control because no one can make her feel bad except her...if she has control over her emotions no one else can control her. I don't want to be the bad guy by saying no to her but I don't think she is at an age where getting away from problems will solve anything. Her mother has a live-in boyfriend but he is not the problem and there are also 6 other children in the household...so a big part of it is she is feeling resentful of sharing attention.

My boyfriend gets his kids once a month and his 14 year old daughter yelled at him for telling her she couldn't stay out after 7:00 pm (because it's dark). He told her she was grounded, she came the very next week-end and she fought him and manipulated the situation until he let her off. She even called her mother to talk him out of it. How much damage was done by him letting her off? Will she listen to him next time he tries to punish her?

My best friend Kevin just got accepted to Richmond University in London! I am really excited for him to go because I know that he deserves these amazing opportunities, but how do I deal with him going so far away for college? We have been best friends since 6th grade and we're freshman in college right now. Is there an easy way to deal with this?

I have a friend who is younger than I am by like two years. Every single weekend or whenever I am with her, she always asks me to spend the night with her. I never want to because her family smokes like crazy!! So, I end up making excses and lying to her about why I cant. I am so sick of telling her so many excuses about not staying. But I dont wanna hurt her feelings if I do tell her the truth, because it's not her fault that I dont wanna stay over it's just everytime when I come home from her house, I have to take like 12 showers just to get the smell out. I know it may sound crazy but it's the truth. And I feel so horrible and guilty when I tell her excuses. I am the only friend that she has that ever does stuff with her like hang out. That's why I feel so horrible. I still wanna be friends with her. but what should I do about this situation? PLEASE HELP

Why is that true for some people? They say they love you, they want you in their lives..You love them back and give them all..And they treat you like dirt..Why??
And why can't we just let them go from our lives??
If we would walk away they probably wouldn't care..So why can't we just walk away from those that hurt us so much emotionally??
Are we just stupid??

I am a little on the thin side. I wear like a size one in jeans, and im about 5'6 and about 105 lbs. I used to get compliments about being thin, but now everyone is always telling me to eat more, and they always ask me why im so skinny. Its not my fault! I eat like a horse, and I excersise and all that. But now noone, especially guys even like me because of my thinness, whats going on? I want to be pretty again......Not being called anorexic!

For my wedding Im hiring an officiant who is charging $300.00 for small ceremony. Do i have to tip her too?, and will she leave after the ceremony or is she supposed to stay at the reception? Also, im hiring a photographer should i tip him also?how much? My reception site does not offer discount food for photographers should i pay for his meal?and where would he eat it? I know these questions sound stupid but i really dont know what is usually done in this situations. Thanks.

Alright, here's the story. When I was in High school last year I met this dude and we dated and went to prom together. Then a little something happend when he got a place of his own. my wife divorced me, left everything, her name is still on the 2nd mortgage. I have not been able to get it off due to a poor credit score because of the divorce. she is now holding me contempt in court, because her name is still on the 2nd mortgage, can the judge force me to sell my home? umm, okay. I have a big 'ole problem. K, I like this guy a lot and he really likes me too. I met him by my friend and then we started talking on myspace.com, messager, and the phone. After 3 months of getting to know him and everything, I fell in love. We are only friends right now becuase I`ve only seen him twice in person but I trust him a lot becuase I know him really well.
