Alright, here's the story. When I was in High school last year I met this dude and we dated and went to prom together. Then a little something happend when he got a place of his own. November of 06 was the last time I'd heard from him so I thought he wasn't interested in me. then boom today he calls and leaves me a message saying he "needs" to talk to me? why would a guy wait that long? I have a crush on a differnt dude now,so what do I do?

I think it's pretty obvious that he was with somebody else - and that didn't work out - so now he's calling you. MAYBE he was just really busy - but that's highly unlikely.
Do whatever you want. He wasn't committed to you - so he did nothing wrong. Maybe he's realized how nice you are - and wants to try again.

Maybe he finally realized that he likes you, or wants to be with you. He might have also been afraid to tell you earlier. I don't know. That's just my guess. Hope everything works out okay.

maybe he has a reason for not getting in contact with u sooner.maybe u should listen to what he has to say.however if u dont have any feelings for him anymore let it be and go on with this new guy.
