The reception is in Oregon, two weeks after the fact. I'll be sending my dress home with my mom for dry cleaning. I love my dress, and I didn't pay that much for it to be worn once. Is it okay to wear it again at the reception?

The note was a page long. It said he hadn't seen his mom in 2 years and he talked on the phone to her. His mom doesn't miss or love him. He wants to run away. I'm his last hope he said. When living at home with your family have you ever walked around the house in just a tank top and panties. I do this once in a while where parents and my brother have seen me. Nothing is said about me walking around like that. Usually it is at nite before bed. Mom does it once in a while too. Does anyone think this is bad? Do you do it too? Do any guys have mom or sister who does that too?

This man has never said I am beautiful but comments on my clothing saying they are nice. He always finds a way to make a compliment about me being brainy every time I see him. Very smiley, lots of eye contact with a smirk and looking down after a fairly long time? Is this embarrassment? Does he fancy me or what? Why dosen't he compliment my looks or body?? My son is 6 years old, his father and I split up when he was 1.5 years old. once we split, he was gone as a father as well...he ended up going to jail about a year later and is still there but has sent a few letters in the past 3 months or so wanting to start communication with our child. This is not the type of man I want being a role model in my son's life but, fact is, he's my baby's father for life. Is "any" daddy better than no daddy or do I wait until he comes home and go through the court system if he persues it at that time?

My lil girl was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 19 months old and on 4 insulin shots per day. She is now almost 3 and has been rediagnosed with "Brittle Diabeties" and now needs an insulin pump to control this disease better. The docotor told me I should quit my job and stay home to take care of her. Since November 2005 her father has showed little interest of this disease and has yet to go to the classes to take care of her properly. In August 2006 the Judge awarded me SOLE CUSTODY and cannot see his daughter until completion of anger management classes and other issues. He has yet to help out finacially and I have taken things up with the state for child support enforcement.

I'm 17 & an internet author. Last February a girl my age reviewed my work, then I reviewed hers, & it turned out we had a lot in common, in our lives as well as interests. Around that time I found I was bisexual & developed a crush that's turned serious.

We've been emailing/IMing for months & I'm confident that I know her pretty well. I know about internet security & fraud but I'm 99.99% sure she's genuine.

Both of us have similar problems & can relate to each other. I have counselling but I don't have anyone else in my life that I can openly relate to or confide in. We both have self-esteem issues & are very open to each other about our flaws.

She lives in the US & at present travel is not an option. If she felt the same way I would be able to wait until we were older for us to have a proper relationship. I'm going to let her know how I feel in a way she can ignore if it's not returned.

Advice on the possibilities of a long-term relationship?

Ok. The guy I like has just broken up with his gf like 2 days ago. He knew I liked him before she asked him out. He liked me but she got to him before I did :( . I still like him and want to take a chance before it's too late. How do I say to him I want to go out with him? When do I say it? Or should I forget it cos it's too soon?

This is going to be long but to get the best answers i need to give most of the details.
There was this married couple that are my friends but little over a year ago they split up and are almost done with their divorce. The guy is already involved with someone else but the girl is not. I my self am out of a 5 year relations ship too and recently I've been seeing this girl more often. I always thought she was very attractive and nice person and she felt like that too about me as well but we never took it pass that since we both were happy at our relationships at the time.
We've gone out to movies and dinners few times, she invites me to her home all the time and gives me warm hugs, kiss on the cheek and all the good body language signs like playing with her hair, looking away , sitting really close to me on a big couch etc, etc...I see all this things so one evening I just went for it and kissed her....I think she was little surprised by that but did not fought me off so i figured it was fine. After that we went out few more times and kissed few more times but I think it was me who initiated all the time. Than few days later as we were going out I wanted to give her hello kiss and this is when she told me she is not ready for relationship right now.....I know she is going through thought time with the divorce right now so I automatically said that neither am I ( I guess I was defending my own ego from being rejected?) all of this has been few months ago
since than we still talk and hang out occasionally whenever I can but I do stay out of town a lot due to my job so its not easy. She still gives me all the body language and stuff, I even try not to return the kiss on the cheek when she gives me a hug but she doesn't notice that I'm trying to back away ....after all she said she wsnt ready so I took few steps back.
Just last weekend she invited met to her house and we were supposed to watch some movies, but it turn out that her brother had people coming over to watch boxing which we did instead movies. While there she was talking with her friends that I hardly know I was sitting there all by my self like a sore thumb....I felt stupid and out of place...after the fight everyone left and so did I even I had a feeling she did not want me to go....was it a right move?
I dont know what to do....I know I like her and she likes me too but something tells me she is not going to be ready for longtime and I dont want to be playing this childish game, we are both adults she is 27 im 29
feb 14 is coming up and I have two choices
either keep going after her and send her a card ----I need suggestions on what to say

or I could talk to her and tell her that it would be best if we dont see eachoter for a while because it keeps messing with my and her head and i find it hard to be just her friend and deny myself the feelings I have towards her....
by doing this I hope it would help her realize how she truly feels and i'm prepared for what ever the outcome might be....either way the choice is going to be clear and simple

some of you might tell me that we bot are on a rebound and that divorce are tough on a person.....I'm very well aware of it so no need to tell me that

Me and my husband are constantly battling each other. Yesterday I washed his work clothes (the way he wanted me to) and then went off at me coz I didnt do it the way he wanted me to, I told him that I did and I didnt understand what he was mad about and he said, oh you dried them wrong.
After that, he had a few drinks and and was getting some mushrooms and I asked him to leave a handful for dinner and he yelled at me and told me that all I ever do is whinge. I asked him when I had and what I had done, and all he would say was f&^% off, he wouldnt tell me. What do i do? this happens every day. I feel like I am walking on eggshells every time I am around him, and it makes me not want to be at home.

Have been married for 20 years. Thought I had a pretty good marriage. Regular ups and downs like everyone else. Recently spouse inherited 20 acres of land from a deceased relative. However, land has to be subdivided. There are a couple of other relatives who own portions of this land. Spouse is a smoker, with chronic health issues, who refuses to quit. I asked spouse if they would be willing to speak with an attorney and have my name put on the land, since it is shared with other people, and because I want to make sure that our family interests were protected. I was stunned at the response I got. I was told that nothing would be left to me. It would go to the children and the spouses siblings. My question is, after being a GOOD wife and mother of all these years, does it sound like he does not love me? For the first time, I am considering a divorce. I feel like we have been living a lie. He says he loves me, but, I don't feel like he is looking out for me.

this girl is in trouble in school for running her mouth,many times now.she's been punished in every way you can think of,she goes to therapy,been talked to and still no luck.i was thinking about taking her to a women's prison or jail or visiting a detention center to show her the errors of her ways.nothing that has been done is helping.what would be the ying and yang for her to help show her the difference between being destructive and constructive?to show her how to be a better person.they can't change schools at this time of year,and punishing her doesn't work.i.e.no phone,friends,activities,tv,radio.they had her write sentences and that didn't work either.they even gave her extra chores to do.at their wits end,what would you suggest?all answers welcome.

my gf of 8 years just broke up with me again. Same reasons, to travel and live more before settling down. Infact she is going away for about 3 months from the 19th of Feb. She apologised for putting me through this crap a second time, told me she still loved me but just cant give me what i want right now. I was hurt and told her not to contact me so i can move on with my life. This is still my intention but if she did happen to feel as though she made the wrong decision i would hope she would contact me and talk to me. So should i clear up the no contact thing or would she call if she really wanted to sought things out? Also is it better i have no contact to keep her wondering on what i am doing because i know she would have expected me to call her by now and that is probably stewing on her mind.
