This man has never said I am beautiful but comments on my clothing saying they are nice. He always finds a way to make a compliment about me being brainy every time I see him. Very smiley, lots of eye contact with a smirk and looking down after a fairly long time? Is this embarrassment? Does he fancy me or what? Why dosen't he compliment my looks or body?? Lots of answers needed to get an accurate idea. Thanks!

He is anxious to get into your drawers and you seem to be encouraging it. Chances are that when he eventually s h a g s you, the novelty will wear off.

i reckon he likes you. he might be a bit nervous about how you would react if he said he liked you. so by complimenting your outfits instead of your looks he is simply being friendly as well as showing you he thinks you look good. if he didn't fancy you why would he take an interest in what your wearing and how brainy you are! if i was you i would just ask him. at least then you will know either way. good luck

If he likes you, he probably doesn't want you to think he only likes the way you look or doesn't want to appear shallow. And maybe that's not even as important to him as your intelligence or your sense of style. You should be happy that a man knows how to compliment you on other things than your looks or your body.

I would say that He does like you, but he is trying to show you that he doesn't just like you for your looks. He finds you interesting and well dressed and he wants you to know this.
Looking into your eyes is a dead giveaway that someone is interested in you, but teamed with the smirk and then looking away I would say it's a definite. You should ask him out.

A lot of people don't just come on out and say things like that. Anyways, It's a good thing he see's other awsome things about you other then just your body and looks so don't complain. Give him time. Seems like a decent guy just from that fact.

hmm well it seems like he is givin mixed signals
OK so this may sting alittle but usually when someone doesnt comment on your looks that person doesnt think you are cute
but he sure does like your personality and the way you dress which is a good sign and if he looks at you alot he is showing you he likes you so i think maybe you should go and talk to him and try to get to know him better then you can really see if he likes you

Because thats too forward, a lot of guys wont come straight out with it and tell you, "hey your boobs look extra hot today" its not how it works maybe later on a date if you ever go out he might say you have a great smile, pretty eyes, he finds you attractive etc etc.

You want him to compliment your body? That's a bit ungentlemanly and some women would be offended. He is doing all he can do to let you know he likes you. Now, are you sure he is actually available?

fairly old fashioned approach but yes he does fancy you, your looks and body are a personal matter, he will not compliment you on those until your relationship is stronger or more intimate.
