I am pretty outgoing but when I am around this guy I just smile and act all shy its so weird and funny.....we have a strong chemistry and love to be around each other but when we do get close (just kissing!) I get all shy....I am usually not....its just him....I am 29 and hes 26 and feel like a little kid again.......we have been dating for 2 weeks now and have now determined we are a couple :) But I still act shy in person but when I am on the phone we talk for 4 hours!!! and when we email its just goes on and on and on.....why is this? Its funny because it just feels like we are kids trying to hold hands, finding ways to hold hands and him trying to kiss me......:)

I am 26 years old and my ex fiance is 30. We were in a 7 year relationship. He left me 2 months ago. He told me he wasn't in love with me anymore and he moved out. 2 weeks later I found out that my now ex best friend and him are together and he moved in with her. We planned to have a baby in October and I actually got pregnant right away - I am now 4 months pregnant and he says that he will be there for our child... I don't understand why he gave up on our life together as a family after we planned this. What do I say to him to make him realize has broke my heart, but I want him to walk away from her and come back to his soon-to-be family? I've asked him to come back already, but he told me that he can't just walk away from her because he cares about her...what about me and the baby??? I don't want to give up but he told me time has passed and he moved on. I can't accept this without a fight! I know I sound desparate but maybe he is waiting to hear the right words from me...

he and i dated for 1 yr and it was so serious that he told everyone that i was the one. i chickened out and refused to see him for 5 months. we got back together but he resented me and i'm kind of high maintenance so any little thing can pss me off. this lead to arguments. we broke up and started dating new people. after awhile, i was devastated bc i realized i loved only him. he moved on with a new girl who was more "safe and sweet". he would still call me and she didn't like it. she caught us at the library together once (we're in college). they got in a lot of arguments (not just over me). one night he said he would leave her but changed his mind the next morning. i was incredibly pssd. she dumped him afterwards (they lasted a month). he still didn't want to be in a relationship however, and tried to see other people. i was ready to move on, then after christmas break, he begged me to be in a relationship again. he's SOO sweet and considerate now/we stopped arguing.
i'm confused!!

My girlfriend of 4 and a half years and I recently split and things just aren't going that well. I am in a new area, starting a new job, and I don't really have any close friends nearby. My parents and family all live on the otherside of the country. This is the most alone I've ever fault and I go to bed and wake up thinking about my ex. It's horrible. The worst part is that we've had a lot of problems lately and I had promised myself that I'd do all I could to make it work. I feel that I did so and it still didn't work. I guess I'm not used to trying my hardest at something and failing, but now I'm just lost on what to do with myself. My best friend who I used to lean on was my girlfriend and now she's gone. Should I consider seeking professional help or just go to a bar and have a couple crazy nights?

Let's say you met someone that you really like, but you have a lot going on with work, college, family issues, & financial issues. This person wants a committment but you know that you're not quite where you want to be mentally, emotionally, or financially in order to offer this person the type of committment that they're seeking. You don't want to see this person leave you're life because you care about them a great deal. So what do you do? Tell them that you're a little confused & want more stability in your life before you give them your all or do you let them go? How do I handle this situation?

was just reading a question from a lady that fell in love with someone and someone mentioned transference. What the hell is this? Why do psychiatrists have to label everything?! Regardless of the situation you have fell in love! You can fall in love with someone at any time, at any place and in any capacity, professonal or not. Does anyone else believe this crap? I am in a situation where I have fell in love with someone in a professional capacity but it's because I have bloody chemistry with him. I like the person he is and thats it! Bloody transference - next they will be spouting that it's a medical condition. For God's sake you fall in love with people coz you like them don't you? Or is it me? Can anybody explain this??

My bf and I have been together almost 2 years, we are both older(I am 40, he is 59) his wife passed away from cancer 2+ years ago (dec.6) and their wedding anniversary was on Valentines Day, does any one have any suggestions on how I should handle this. Last year we celebrated Valentines Day a week later.

Please no age related comments or about how fast we got together after his wife passed, I did not know him or his wife before we met in May 2 years ago.

i work with my ex who still flirts with me though i show no interest. says he is back with his baby mother. he says that he is only there for the child and he has no feelings for her,it is what he has to do to be near his kid. it may not work out between them, that he doesnt want to move in with her and that although they have hardly slept together. but he told a fellow colleague the reverse! that they are "at it like rabbits" (his words) that when he wakes up and sees his g/f and child laying next to him, he is so happy,... hes at her place nearly all of the time,so he is living with her. calls her " my wife / my wifey" .. they have only been back together for less than two months... we had a row ages ago before he and his ex got back 2gether,and afterwards he said my words really hurt him..wouldnt this be an ideal way to get me back ,by telling me how happy he is.. he doesnt need to lie to me or other work colleagues.does he want me and the ex? two timing rat! ha ha

My husband and I have been married for a little more than a year and have just had our first child. Up until the end of the pregnancy we had a very active sex life. Now, I want sex, he isn't interested. We have talked about it, and he feels it is a temporary thing. It is not ED. It only really bothers ME. I have trouble just being able to enjoy cuddling and spending time together because I feel uncomfortable laying next to my husband feeling the unriciprocated sexual tession. While I want to get the spark back ASAP I also want to give my husband the time he needs without being pushy or making him feel guilty. I need advice on how to keep this aspect from messing up the rest of our relationship. Would love to hear advice from both men and women on this one.

My friend is getting married soon. He is a really nice guy, and everyone likes him. He has been very sucessful in the business that he owns and he has a nice house and cars and everything, but he isn't one of those rich jerks or anything like that. A few years ago he was very supportive of me when I was going through a hard time in my life, but I am wondering what to do because yesterday I was talking to his fiance and she asked me, if he died ... would she get his money.

I am not surprised that she would say something like that, because she only seems interested in his money. She talks about it all the time. He loves her, but I don't think she loves him. I just know that once they have been married for a couple months, she will divorce him to get the money.

Should I tell him about this? Should I tell him that she asked me that question? He helped me, so maybe I should help him, because I don't think he knows her real intentions. What should I do?
