i work with my ex who still flirts with me though i show no interest. says he is back with his baby mother. he says that he is only there for the child and he has no feelings for her,it is what he has to do to be near his kid. it may not work out between them,that he doesnt want to move in with her and that although they have hardly slept together. but he told a fellow colleague the reverse! that they are "at it like rabbits" (his words) that when he wakes up and sees his g/f and child laying next to him, he is so happy,... hes at her place nearly all of the time,so he is living with her. calls her " my wife / my wifey" .. they have only been back together for less than two months... we had a row ages ago before he and his ex got back 2gether,and afterwards he said my words really hurt him..wouldnt this be an ideal way to get me back ,by telling me how happy he is.. he doesnt need to lie to me or other work colleagues.does he want me and the ex? two timing rat! ha ha

He is using both you and her and will play both of you as long as he can. Stop playing his game and move on to better men.

He's obviously trying to get some sort of reaction from you, and it sounds like the fellow colleague is passing stuff on to you to stir it up as well. Ignore him, ignore the gossip, walk away, find someone who actually deserves you sweetie!

Don't take revenge he'll probably only get you back! though I would suggest you to run and not even contemplate any possibilities between you and him! He's obviously not coming back in the near future, go find someone who really appreciates you!

Obviously he is confused maybe he is saying a little bit more to his coworkers hoping that it will get back to you, know that you have said hurtful things to him, but also consider if he is saying those types of things about her especially to other people he probably means it, sorry move on to someone who is worth your while, and "Never make someone a priority who makes you an option"

I would leave him alone. If he really wants to be with you then he will leave his "baby's mama" alone. You do not have to stay with someone for the the sake of a child. You can be there for the child even if you are not with the other parent of the kid.

To have a relationship with his child he doesn't have to live with the mother.
That's a line he's giving you.
This guy seems like more trouble then he's worth and he's showing you no respect.
You can do a lot better....dump him before you're the mother of another one of his babies.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle of the two stories. But it sounds to me like his sole purpose in telling you that story was to get you in bed. It sounds like you made a good decision to dump him in the first place. You'd be wise to stick with it. :)
