just to get back at you but i had my reasons to break up with him, now everybody is coming to me and asking me if its true. what should i do?

All of us girls have been in your shoes one time or another. The best choice in handling the issue is to ignore the rumors. Don't react or debate anyone's confrontations/phone calls, etc., (including his), should there be any. People don't need an explanation, it's really none of their business, as in: Gee, I'm really sorry to hear my ex-bf is having a hard time accepting the break-up.
Give ppl the benefit of the doubt. People are smarter than you think. In this particular kind of relationship, maturity, will judge based on what they know or have observed in a person's character (words come cheap), liars are usually known by their "big mouths," & vindicative tantrums. Your constant reaction/responses to the rumors may cause skepticism, because, self-defensive behavior can be an indication of guilt. Arguing/debating will only prolong the healing and the need for you 2 to move on. It's just not worth it!! So, be strong, avoid ppl or forums that provoke/harrass you and get on with your life!

You had your reasons for breaking up with someone. If rumors have started, and people have actually asked you about them, that's time to let them know the truth about things. If something is true, admit it and explain to them why (you really shouldn't have to explain yourself) but since they have the audacity to ask you questions, then go ahead and explain things =) If they don't like or believe what you tell them, that's ok too, because deep down you know the truth =) If something isn't true, explain it and explain why he would have said what he said =)

Easy start spreading rumours about him until it stops.... it is easy for a girl... just say that he was crap in bed and has a tiny co*ck and finds it hard to get an erection... or say that you found pictures of young children in his bedroom and that is why you broke up with him...

Ignore it. He's obviously a class A prat and any rumours he's started must be pretty stupid. Who cares if people know stuff? You know it's not true, why worry about what other people think? If they were your friends then they should know you better than to believe them and if they're not, who cares?

Ah, such immaturity. I went through that crap. Only he broke up with me and he was mad at me for asking him the reason why. He also told people personal crap about me.
Don't know why I ever took him back....twice.
