I have become good friends with a guy i know in the past few months but now he has started to put a move on me and i got very akward even though i do like him. I have had similar experiences in the past where either i have been too afraid to make a move or when the guy does, i freak out. This always causes them to feel rejected although i do not mean to reject them. I think i do this because i fear intimacy. I have read articles and they all blame childhood experiences or fear of rejection. I was raised in a household which was loving although my parents did not show too much open affection or intimacy and i dont think i push away when someone tries to get close because i fear rejection. why am i pushing him away even though i like him, and how do i overcome my fear of intimacy?

okay, so my boyfriend and i have been best friends for a couple of years now and have been daeing for a couple of months now... well when it comes down to sex, i get intimidated... this isn't the first time it's happened and definitly not the first guy either. i am 21 and pretty attractive, but my insecurities get the best of me... i feel like i'm being judged and compared even though i know i'm not... it's almost like stage fright or something... please help!!!

my boyfriend generally communicates well with me. he tells me when something's wrong, he makes a point of being totally honest with me at all times, if i'm doing something he doesn't like he'll let me know.....he even trusts me with his facebook password. if that's not ultimate trust then i dunno what is. but whenever something happens like he gets into a fight with someone or he's having a bad day or someone calls me up and says, "i think something happened 2 ur bf today, maybe u shud talk to him about it," he doesn't say a word. in situations like that, its always "nothing." it can't be a trust issue cuz we took care of that already, but why won't he just fill me in? he won't even tell me WHY he won't tell me......what am i supposed 2 do????

My boyfriend broke up with me completely out of the blue a little less than a week ago, citing the fact that his future is uncertain and that he doesn't know where he's going and has to follow the four winds, etc. to start his career, and this was not fair to me. He actually cried more than I did over the whole stupid thing. He still acts differently toward me than he does other people, goes to meals with me and my friends (even though I have tried to avoid/ditch him several times), and asked me if we could still hang out and watch the shows we used to watch together. What the heck is going on here? Should I just go with it and hope he falls for me again or tell him to back off? I do love him very much, and I think something else is going on besides the reasons he gave me for the sudden breakup. I just don't want to hurt any more than I already do. We were together just shy of 5 months. His first relationship, but not mine. I'm 19 and he's 23, so answer accordingly, please.

If you're taking the kids/nephews/nieces/etc. to the beach, what do you do to get sand out of their trunks and booty's after?

I've seen moms actually take their kid by the shower pull from behind their trunks and just clean right their with their hands.

How do others handle this?

I met this person at work. we worked together about 4 years. then she got moved into my department and worked there with me for about 3 months. during that time got to know each other too well. started meeting after work and making excuses to meet on weekends. even started missing work once in a while to be together. we both express our love for each other. we both miss each other when we leave. big issue right now. we both married to other people. she is separated with hubby. i am still married, but havent felt like i wanted to be there for long time now. i am now at a situation where i need to decide who is the most important person to me. the womean i married or the woman who i have been having an affair with. like i said i havent been happy in my marriage for a long time about 1 year or more. i feel that i have been happier with the new person that with spouse. i admit that sex has been main focus of our affair, but we both are wanting more.

I asked this girl out a day after her boyfriend did (3 weeks ago) she said if i had asked first she would have said yes.

We have hung out twice since then (i consider one a date) but was just hanging.

Everytime we are together we flirt heaps, i mean shocking amounts.

Whenever we hang out during the day, I'm always tired and kind of boring. She is always talking, we laugh a lot, I just wish I had more energy. Its hard because she likes to hang out in the mornings which I'm always tired in the mornings. I think part of the reason why we don't hang out more is because I'm not More expressive and funny. I am later in the day but mornings are hard. So any advice on how to have more energy in the morning and break out of my shyness.

I moved to michigan in early december, and opened up a myspace account to try and meet new people. I ended up meeting a girl, who i am now dating, and everything about us seems to be going great. I love her (yes i have told her) and she love me, but i am wondering, if something seems to be so wonderful will work out.
