I see him at lunch and dinner, sometimes breakfast. He sits alone sometimes and I want to go talk to him. He's with his friends at times. I'm shy too. So for me to go and sit with him is a very bold move on my part. But the thought crosses my mind a lot but I don't know if he would want me to sit with him. Also, last year as I was standing in line for dinner, he cuts infront of me and doesn't say anything, but also we happen to go to where the pies are and he reaches over the counter and gets the last pie instead of asking me to give it to him. Is he just scared or being rude? Or was it a way to get my attention? It worked in the wrong way. Now, I see him glanceing at me from the corner of his eye but I always think it must be the girl behind me. So what to do? I'm planning on sitting with him when he's sitting by himself. But I don't know if he's interested in me.

I was with my baby daddy for 3 years i always though it was ment to be we met off of the internet we met and instintly we clicked i loved him so much 2 years alter we have a baby on the exact same day we met we spent our 2 year anniversery in the hospital...and 9 months after i had my daughter things were going good we were even going to get married we planned it for our next anniversey i mean we did everything together then disaster struck he got another girlfriend i dont know how this happened and now its hard i stilllove him so much and i dont know how to get over it i cry all the time and i really hurt i dont know what to do..I just wanted my happy family but our relationship was unreal it was my fairy tale lover and now hw is gone but i still have to deal with im everyday for my daughters sake help how do i get over this pain this hurt...help

I was a psychology/sociology major at Stanford before I dropped out - I never fully understood why girls completely ignore shorter guys such as myself (5'5"-5'6"). I can understand the need for a girl to have a guy who can protect them, but there a plethora of short men out there who could easily take down towering guys. Ex. - Jet Li, Bruce Lee.

In addition to this, I'm a guy who has greenish-blueish eyes and very light brown straight hair and a long "Nordic" face (I'm Central-Northern European). Are these features unattractive to American girls? I keep hearing that girls want a guy with dark features. Is this true? Would a girl rather go out with a guy with black hair and dark brown eyes?

I want to approach this a little differently: Instead of saying what girls do like, what features/character traits in a guy do girls absolutely loath? Ex. - I guess the thought of green eyes and light brown hair girls here in America find pernicious.

I hear it is 16 for a girl, BUT I was taught in sex ed. class that at 16 you can legally have sex but with someone not over 18. I do NOT want to have sex but I want to date a guy 10 years older than me.

My question is, does the age of consent apply to dating? Is it illegal for him to date me, will it get us in trouble?
I have enough sense to not have sex till I am married so please do not bash me for this question...
