What would you do? I am a Gangster?

Question

My boyfriend is a Crip and he has been begging me to join with his gang or he is going to break up with me. I really am in love with him. I told him that I don't want to but he said if i don't then we are OVER. I just told him that I will think about it. I don't want to join a gang of CRIPS. what would you do besides breaking up? Can you give me information on gang members? If i join how will i be? help and yea I Do Know that i might end up in jail or dead but help me out besides telling me that

first of all i wanna konw where ya man is from city and set??? because where im from if you get put on your girl is on no matter what but that might be a LBC thing.... it all depends on where your from because some places in this world arent as hard as others so get at me and give me that answer so i can answer that question a little better mami...

Good God girlfriend, you know answer to this question or you wouldn't be asking it. You know that despite the love that you feel for your boyfriend that joining the gang is wrong and should be thaking God that you DO know. You know about the jail/dead thing but have you honestly asked yourself what kind of future that you want as opposed to the kind of future you WILL have should you go along with your boyfriend? You become a gang member, you are EVERYBODY'S girlfriend...whomever wants you WILL have you. Are you ready for that ? Or ready to "make your mark?" and "prove" your loyalty to them? What if you are asked to take another persons life to do so? Are you ready for that? To be involved with people whom have little or no respect for anyone or anything outside the gang in which you will have to be "jumped into" (that will require your taking a real serious as kicking)?
You are obviously bright and have morals and values, both of which will take you ONE HELL OF ALOT FURTHER IN LIFE THAN WILL JOINING A GANG.
If he loved you, knowing what your future in joining him and the Crips will entail, he wouldn't ask nor would he threaten. He KNOWS what he's trying to get you involved with and the SERIOUS price that you wil pay again and agian should you join.
Is that love on his part? I think not. For all you know he is just a "recruiter" and you a mark.
There re lots of places to find friendship, acceptance,nd love in the world.

Angel, let him go.Trust me, you will get over him and go on to fall in love again. It may not feel like it now but you will.
Remember that you would never have asked this question if you didn't feel, deep in your heart and soul, that going along with him and joining was the right thing to do. You answered your oen question by asking it! If your gut feeling is that something is wrong, NEVER ignore it...call it womens intuition.

Joining a gang is PERMANENT and involves you in a very dangerous lifestyle. If you're not totally committed to the gang (you're only there because of him) what happens if you break up and want out? They aren't just going to give you a going away party and wish you luck. He also sounds immature; "If you don't do what I want, I'll break up with you." Controlling with a capital "C". Get out while you can, he's not worth it - no guy with that attitude is.

gurl u need to be the one to dump him u know that being in a gang is dumb and very dangerous dont't get urself into something you cant get out of and by the way how od r u because r u really sure u ar e going to be with this man the rest of ur life because being in a gang is a lifetime thing u just cant get out whenever u want and if u do get out you will probably have to watch ur back for the rest of ur life now do u want that and ohh yeah this will affect ur faily to so i think u needto talk to ur family to get help because no person is worth risking ur life for if the reason is stupid like being in a gang good luck and i hope u make the best decision

i'm so sorry. i really understand that you're so inlove with him cause i felt that way before....but it seems like he just wants you to be with him if you join their gang so that means he doesn't really really love you because if he does..he'll respect you. and imagine the future between the two of you.so i'm sorry to tell u this..u should find a great guy who you really deserve to be with.
