My best friend (we'll call her Jane) has been acting very strange for a while now. I noticed a change in her behaviour in the middle of last summer. Jane will randomly get very quiet and really depressed. Jane told me that she feels like no one understands and that she is alone. She says she feels empty. Jane is very confused as to why she feels this way and can't think of a reason why. Her parents don't have any clue who she is and they are very protective of her; they don't even let her dress the way she wants to. The other day I spent the night at Jane's house and I noticed she had cuts on her wrist. I asked her about it and she made me swear not to tell anyone. I told her she needed to get help but she told me that she didn't want help. Her parents have no idea that any of this is going on and I have no idea what to do. What is wrong with her and how do I help?

I am in love with a guy who earns much less than I do and is not very educated at all. I want to marry him as I don't care about his lack of money and education. i met a guy new to my school about a month ago and liked him the day i met him. we connected the first day. about two weeks ago, my friend (his cousin) told me he likes me. i like him too but we are both shy to discuss it together. we went out for like an hour to talk and it was pretty good. i told his cousin to tell him that i like him too but if we do go out, it will be serious. now, he is telling her that he wants to be close with me but doesn't want a serious relationship. Ive known this guy for months and we really like each other. We've been through alot and used to be a couple but we broke up because he has an ex hes been with on and off for yrs. Him and her are having problems, and hes unhappy with her. I can tell. Me and him get along great and we have alot of chemistry. He say he likes me alot but its hard to leave someone of 5 yrs.
