I had real friends but imaginary ones probably would have been better.
My daughter however, has two.. She told about both of them as she grew up and I have great memories because of her imaginary friends.
Ones name is, yes is not was... Ashley the other is Kim.
Ashley is the adventurous one and Kim is a little wilder then I would like. She's a teenager now but her imaginary friends live on...
I remember everything my daughter chose to share with me and without her imaginary friends there were serious issues that she probably wouldn't have been able to share with me.
Sounds corny but imaginary friends can save lives and bring people together.. They saved my little girl from making a mistake that would have ruined her life and they brought us closer together.

My little sister had one named Lisa. The weird thing is, we looked into it, because she didn't have much of an imagination before we moved to that town. And the 'friend' Lisa, was a little girl who had lived there just 3 years before us, but she had died in a horrible car crash at the age of 6. Creepy, my 4 year old sister was actually talking with a ghost

When I was little I had a little girl make-believe friend. Although I can still say her name, I don't think there's a correct spelling for it. But here's a good try from me.......... Chetung (pronounced chet tong). Not sure how a 2 year old came up with such a stupid name, but oh well. She was mine and even though I'm 35 I still remember playing tea with her. LOL.

I think most of my friends were make believe. Now I look back I realize they were mostly that.
A couple of pretend friends were Jake and Pete, they were cowboys, and Clyde was a policeman.
I see Clyde every now and then but Jake and Pete have ridden off into the sunset.
Thank you for a fun question. I am almost 60 and I remember good things.

I love this question!! YES, George was my make-believe friend or blame-all I should say. If I left the TV on, water on, lights on, burnt the dressing room vanity with the curling iron.... it was never me, George did it. Funny how George followed me through college and now in my 6th year of marriage with a 2 year old, George is back, my son now says "mommy George did it" - isn't that weird!!! Thanks for the great question, gave me some funny memories of past loved ones!! :)

I had one named Patrick. I would get in trouble as a little girl and tell my mom that Patrick did it. My mom thinks that our house was haunted and that is where Patrick came from. I had him from the time that we moved to our new house after she married my step-dad until I was about 9yrs old.

i was an only shil for a long time and my prents were usually busy so i had no one to play with. at daycare i was kinda lonely cuz i like to be by myself, so i had an imaginary sister. her name was Gana (like the country). she had pretty, black hair and light brown skin. her eyes were completely black and she always had a smile on her face. sometimes she was older then me and sometimes she was younger. i guess i wanted a younger and older sister, so Gana filled their places.... she "went to college" when i was about 7. i miss her... *sniffle* but she visits sometimes.
thanks for the question. it brought back some happy memories.
