I have set my wedding date for the 22nd of March 2008, and decided to ask family to see if they could come. Everyone was very happy except my elder brother who incedently is getting married 2 months later on the 17th May 2008. He refuses to allow us to be married within 6 months of his wedding. He has paid £3000 towards his wedding costs so far, but if I was to agree to change my date, then the venue we picked will not be availble until 2009. We had our hearts set on this venue and need to lay our deposit down any day now. Should I agree to change the date much against the advice of the family of my financee - or should I remain adiment that my brother has no right to affect the date that I should get married as he is not contributing towards our marriage?

In 12 yrs of marriage there have been a few violent fights between me and my husband.One he choked me when I was 8 mths pregnant and another he charged me,i fell and got a concussion. The others I feel equally responsible for because I was just as physical. He always knit picks at petty things about me like, I smell like an ashtray( i smoke) so does he, my coffee stinks in the morning, says that I can't make a decision to save my life (when this is actually him),says hurtful things and then says that its me because I don't get his sense of humor,once told me that having sex with me was too much work, always seems irritable and aggravated,but denies there is anything wrong. Refuses to spend any quality time with me,such as a date. keeps making excuses, any attempts I do to make our marriage better he is a road block.I know this sounds crazy,even to me, but does something seems wrong with this picture?part of me says this relationship is messed up, other parts of me says maybe its me

te. On the last date we talked hours and ended up having a Frenchkiss. After that I went back home but we managed to keep in touch with phone calls and chatting. It was really serious in the beginning, then it started to slow down. BTW, it was almost 2 months since I saw her. Now,
1.Her ex BF broke up with her 3 weeks before I met her. He cheated on her, but she still love the guy and misses him.
After a couple of weeks later after our first date, she stopped the contact and gradually lost touch. Now we only talk like 1 a week compared to everyday before. She told me that right now she wants her space cos she misses her EX and told me that our situation was "good" . She knows that Im interested in her but she never showed any intention she wanted anything more than just friends. Now, did I do something wrong? Was I not aggressive enough.I did give her a Xmas gift.Should I back off? Is roses for valentines day for her too much? Was I too needy? WAs she just using me for comfort?

I would just like something in return and I don't know how to ask for it without sounding like I'm nagging. Yes my husband works a 40 hour work week but all he does is come home, sit in his recliner and watch T.V. I work, come home, make dinner, feed the animals, do laundry, vaccuum, wash the bed covers, shovel snow/mow the lawn, pay the bills, sort the mail, grocery shop, I do it all. I understand that if I lived alone, I'd have to do all these things for myself anyway. What makes him exempt from all this. Yes he is spoiled and I love spoiling him but I need some help here digging out of the hole I've made. The things he does are very inconsiderate. If I have to work late and he knows there will be no dinner for him he'll order a pizza for himself-he'll never think about making or getting dinner for the 2 of us, just dinner for him. He never thinks past himself and I am very angry. Everything I do is for 2, everything he does is for him. I'm so unhappy. Help!
