I have been going out with this girl for about a week now and she lives 30 min away.. my dad says dump her because of the distance. I dont want to but he keeps pushing me and pushing me. he kinda threatned to kick me out of the house... She is the happiest thing that has happned to me? do i listen to my dad or follow my heart

Your dad is a jerk (or he knows something about the girl and doesnt want to tell you as not to hurt you) id listen to your heart cos my bf lives about 1hr away from me !! if you like her be with her . Trust me listen to your heart :-)

Depends on your age and ability to support yourself and possibly your lady friend. If you live under your Dad's roof, you need to abide by his rules.
If you truly want to be with her, you will find a way to the point of getting one, two, or even more jobs to get the money for your own place to so you don't have to answer to your Dad.

Well, you don't list your age so I can only say that you need to have a means of support for yourself before you get kicked out of the house over a girl you have known a week.

you are happy with her. why don't you try bringing her over so that your dad will see what a wonderful girl you are with and so your dad will see that his son is happy with this girl. at the same time, try sitting down and explain everything to your dad calmly... fathers listen believe me.. :-) just tell him, "dad please trust me on this one, this girl is nice and im really happy with this girl, can you be happy for me please?, just trust me please." your dad needs security. he's just worried you'll get hurt.
