My mom and dad been together more than 18 years. See my dad been in and out of jail for like a long long time. He's not a bad person but he just makes the wrong choses. I see familys get torn into millions of peices when their mom and dad get dvors and the kids have to pick what parnet they what to live with. I just don't what to be one of those teens that have to go thought that. And I ok that my mom and dad not married. And I what it to stay that way

There is this guy that was in my year a couple years back, he graduated now. But I have been IMing him, and last week I asked if he wanted to go to Jr prom with me.

He says he "isnt sure, he will give me an answer at a later time, but dont count on it, and dont take it too personally.."

whats that mean? and should I ask him agian tommorow whether or not he wants to come? How do i get him to want to come? Should I ask him to call me instead?

He probably isnt interested because he talks to me when i start talking but besides that he doesnt make an effort to talk to me.. BUT I REALLY WANT TO GO WITH HIM.. help?

OK, this is a very complicated thing. my best friend, who I really care about is married. I met her while she was married and we became best friends. On this past Christmas I kissed her (tongue) and she didn't reject. Since then we've been around eathother all the time and are falling for one another. She says her husband doesn't make her happy. yet she doesn't want to leave him because she fears divorce and what people think. this weekend i plan on taking her off her feet. he never wants to do anything with her so we always go to places and hang out at my sisters, he knows this, but isn't botheres as we are ''friends.'' i want to have an indoor picnic (being cold and all) because shes never been on one. So I want to surprise her with that and also have candles lit around us while we are on the floor and have yellow rose petals (her fav.) covering the floor. then afterwards watch the movie we firsted kissed on...Monster's Inc. i know kid movie im 19 she's 20...so what do you think?

I live in Canada, my girlfriend of four years lives in the Philippines. Now I know what you're thinking, and it's not like that. I'm 24, she's 25. We're both well educated, and come from good families. So it's not your stereotypical old man/young girl situation, just so the girl can get out of the country. I just wanted to get that out there, because it seems to be the first thing people thing about.

We have met a number of times already, and want to take this relationship to the next level. We both want to live here in Canada together, but we don't know how to get started. So, I'm doing what I can to find out, and get pointed in the right direction! This is a big step for both of us, and understand it's going to be a tough process, but we're ready for it. Any help you can provide us will be greatly appreciated. I like this name, but I also like Mary name too !" I'm Mary. I don't think he like my name. Why did he mention he like my name too? When I asked him why he mention my name, he said he was afraid I would feel bad with my name so he just said it to make me feel good about my name. He didn't mean it that he like the name Mary. Was he trying to tell me he likes me so much that he wants a daughter like me or wants a daughter with me because it didn't make sense what he said he's afraid I don't like my name, so he said he likes my name just to make me feel good.

I had some issues with my relationship with my brother. He did seem to 'get it' so I emailed him. We have alot of fun and joke aroudn alot, but I felt some things needed to be said. His response was "I am such a terrible person. I should even go out. I will try to change.. etc". So I responded by email saying 'You aren't bad, but I meant what I said. Please don't beat yourself up, but I am so glad that you heard me and took it to heart.' He emailed back and said 'apparently you don't recongnize sarcasm'.. how would you take that?

Well I recently deployed to Iraq. My longtime GF and I were planning on marriage. In the back of my mind I believe that she is cheating on me. Phone records, and that good ole message archive on yahoo messenger almost confirms it. I just want to know how I would go about confronting her. My daughter lives with me and rarely sees her dad , she loves him so much and i understand that,and i want her to but he always hurts her so bad , 2 yrs ago at xmas he promised her he had sent her gifts and they would come at the same time her bday present came cause they are so close together (2 weeks dif) she watched the mail for 2 months and nothing came , i asked him about it in private and he told me he couldnt afford it,i told him i understood, but she doesnt so i asked him not to do that
the problem is , this past xmas 1 month ago he done it to her again and she is once again looking for gifts in the mail , he doesnt pay child support and i know how much money he makes , I dont want to hurt her and it bothers her so much if i hurt her dads feelings , and he tells her if i do and then she cries . and i dont know what i should do ,i really dont think he is sending anything this time either . its like hes just trying to appease her and not realizing what its doing to her .
