I love to flirt with a pretty woman, and if she is receptive, I go and talk to her. Topic depends on setting. I have picked up many women and most of them like being approached. Very rarely has my "gay-dar" failed and she was insulted, but hey, such is life. I do have to admit, I love being hit on by attractive women as well. Now that I am married, there is no follow through, but it's good to know I've still got it. It may be the tats, or the hair, but I think it is the self-confidence.
