My sister is 28,she has 3 children.She is collecting disability&she has a live-in boyfriend who can work but,doesn't.Her income is only $600 month.Her oldest son,also collected disability but, she signs the check over to his dad.This is half of her income given to another male bum.She is currently in the eviction process of her apartment.She made a decision about 2 months ago against my advice,not to pay her rent because she said the landlord didn't fix anything.She was going to save money for a new apartment.I knew she couldn't save but, she assured me she had $1500 saved.Today,she admitted to me she has no money.I had to buy them formula,food and diapers.She had not made the efforts to sign up for food stamps,etc.She will be given 3 dys notice to get out.We have 3 xtra bdrms for her or give her $ to get a new apartment.But,we've been in this situation before and since August 2005 have spent $16K bailing her out.Do I help?or does she go to a shelter til she is ok on her own. Help!

My ex and I have been on and off since last June. I adore him and the best of times and loath him at the worst. Sadly we live in different cities and will until I move in May. We haven't used the terms gf/bf in months yet we keep up all the naughty stuff and talk everyday. All of this is starting to bug me because I am begining to feel lonely for commitment. Anytime I've ever cared for a guy, it's turned out that they haven't felt the same way... I'm a really passionate person, and of course, I get hurt big time... Love takes over my emotions, and makes me act in ways that I normally wouldn't.
I don't want to experience that ever again. I'd much rather be alone than heartbroken. I don't want my one-sided feelings to mess up my life anymore.

How can I prevent myself from ever falling in love (or even like) again?

I'm so scared of caring for anyone else, and I just don't have it in me to feel this kind of pain, anymore.

Okay, so this guy licks my hand, kisses my hand, comes to my house and we go in my room, he tackles me onto my bed and it looks like yea.........., i go in his room, he teases me, he called me cute, he told my mom if i ever had a boyfriend he'd have to check how he treats me first and if he doesn't treat me well enough he'll kick his butt. Which i think he thinks the only person who will treat me right is him. I can kinda read minds in a way. His friends always stare at me, than i look at them and they look down. I think he likes me, but i keep second guessing myself. So just to make sure, i came to here. Than, I'm thinking about asking him if he likes me, but what if he says he doesn't like than i'd cry myself to sleep. I want to ask him this tuesday. So yea. Does he like me??

Said he doesn't have time for him anymore. I have asked several people with no success. I texted him and told him I asked people but he needs to take responsibility for the cat. His response.. im a vegetarian and my friend is paranoid about it!!! have been sick for a long time now and have had to take a lot of medication after I surgery over the summer, and that added to a lot (too many) problems at home have led to high levels of stress. My hair is falling out in tons, I have lost a lot of weight, and on top of that I have a dry scalp and a lot of flakes are on my head. It is apparent and very embarrassing.

These things are not the problem though because I am getting medical help and am trying really hard to keep up my grades. What makes me sad everyday is how I get made fun of in school. It happens every single day and I never get a break. I get called bad names and they yell "Snowflake" through the hallway because of my flake problem. I go home and cry every night now and cannot help it.

I have tried to ignore it, but nothing is working! These are classmates of mine and people who I thought were my friends. How can I get them to stop? Why do they always attack me? I mind my own business and never make fun of them. :[

I just moved to a new city and state. The city i live in now is small and it's not much to do especially for a 17 yr. old like me. I'm not a sit-at-home-all-the-time type of person. I like to get out and hang with friends. When i first moved here I thought "Ok I'm gonna make some new friends and enjoy life instead of being upset about the move" Well now that school has started, it has been taking me a while to meet new people. But now it's like nobody wants to be my friend. Nobody ever asks me to go places with them or anything. I REALLY need friends. I have no one to talk to on the weekends. I've lost touch with old friends in my hometown. The town I live in is so boring. In order to really have fun I have to travel 45min. to an 1hr. to D.C. I'm just not happy at all. I know i shouldn't be but I'm sooo upset with my mom for moving me and my brother out here. I cry almost everyday. I feel like I'm becoming depressed. I have nothing to look forward to. Please give me some advice. Thanks
