If you know them in real life, no problem. But if you don't know them you might not know what to do. But, when you know them, maybe you could ask her to met you somewhere, over the phone, or IM, and then maybe you could ask her out at a romantic spot, beach, field, ect. It'd be the sweetest way!
Good luck with your new partner. (^^)

Well, I would suggest doing it in person; I've always thought that was the best way. But at least the phone. Definetly not IM. I would think it was somebody fooling around on the other person's screenname.

It's not a problem, but I think most girls would like the question popped in person to make it more romantic.

kind of with IM because its a lot less personal, but i dont really have a problem with it. over the phone is fine too, although my friends told me face to face is the only way.
awkward situations naturally orbit my life, so your methods so to speak make it easier; "normal" people though tend to have different opinions.

Hmm. its not the most romantic approach.
Why don't you try casually asking your girl to walk with you to lunch one day, and ask her out then? It would be a little more sincere.
Good luck! :]

I am a guy but i know that girls like it better when you do it in person. It feels more personal to them and so you will start off the relationship better. And they will think of you as a better person and who isnt a wuss, and they will think its sort of cute.
