I had to leave my abusive(mainly emotional and verbal), 1 month ago. We were together 13 years and have 2 small children 7 and 5. I did it for my children's sake. We're over my mom's for now. He hasn't called me but we have sent text messages and usually he's just mean or nonchalant. I have his email password and he has joined 4 dating sites and has been chatting with women on yahoo personals stating he's already divorced, moved into an apartment yesterday. He said to tell the kids he loves them and he will talk to them soon. He only gave me $150 for the kids. He makes a grand a week net pay. I need to file for a divorce or separation but I am still hoping that he will change and we can be a family again. He seems to have forgotten me already and is moving on I guess. That is so damn painful ! He tells the women on personals that he thinks a woman should be treated like a queen. He didn't treat me like that! What am I to do? I'm
so lost without him. What do i do? I still l love him

Also, am I supposed to pay for it? I did a lot of research & found a shuttle for the airport and added it to our wedding website. Do I wait to receive the RSVP's to tell guests about the shuttle? Am I supposed to "entertain" out of town guests the entire time they are here? Also, my wedding website has A LOT of important, helpful info on there. (all about the ceremony, reception, where to stay, what airport(s) to fly into, shuttle and/rental car info, links to maps of the area, info about the cocktail hour, and anything else you want to give me ideas about would be great.) Is it in bad taste to put a little paper in the invitation with the website address on there?

Me and my girlfriend had a discussion of what true sexual freedom might look like – as in, a hypothetical world where people could agree to be together, but are ok not owning each other, std’s and pregnancies are preventable, and paternity testing makes sure the right guys are raising the right babies – and we had some ideas about what it might look like.
We know that men want to have sex with lots of women to spread their seed far and wide, but women invest more in their offspring and therefore are selective. This makes women the chooser in the sexual game. However, women what different things at different times. I’ve that ovulating women want square jaw, high testosterone hotties when they’re ovulating to give their children the strongest genes, but want a man with softer features who are more likely to stick around and be a good dad during the rest of her cycle. Studies show that women are pretty good at picking out between the two.
In other monogamous animals, like birds, females do the same. They have flings with high testosterone, usually younger, males, but continuously mate with life partners that have every reason to assist in rearing the chicks since it’s a good likelihood they’re the dad.

So what if we were socialized to accept behavior more in tune with these instincts? We were ok that some men get many short term partners at some point in their lives, other men get to be super dads and get steady sex – and maybe a fling or two if they can pull it off - and women get both the mates and flings with no regrets? I think a lot of people would be intimidated by this because if women could commit to a guy for the long term, but still fulfill her desires when nature calls, naturally, there would tend to be a some guys who got a lot of different women, and another group that generally got a steady stream of sex with one.

But is it realy so bad? And if you can put yourself it such a world, is it good for the guys? Is it good for the girls? And do you see yourself being in such a world, and why?

Okay i'm not the most fragile person in the world lol but anyways a while back i got into a pretty messy situation with these guys because they were picking on a friend..and it kind of ruined my life..and since then my confidence has gone way down..and i don't just mean with girls i mean with school work and stuff like that...its not to say i havn't been asked out or anything its just that i can't find my confidence anymore and im starting to worry about it..help! x

We have been dating for 7 years and living together for 4. He lied to me about a girl he was seeing and then when I found out (not the first time either), he basically left me to live with her for about three months. We gave up our apartment and now he is living on his own. A month ago he called and said he wanted me back, when I tell him I need time. He is 32 and I am 25. I still talk to him because I love him. He says that I am not gving him a chance and that I never really loved him, b/c I wont even meet him for a drink. But then calls back and says he loves me and then hates me. He keeps talking about other girls to me especially the one he left me for tonight he called and asked for his ex girlfriends phone number. I have had it. I am wrong for not giving him a chance when he rubbed my face in his affair for 3 months? I have not seen him for a month and he says time is up (but he keeps calling) but when he doesn't I cry? Why?

There's this guy that i really like, and im almost positive that he likes me too. But over break i think he found out that i like him, and since we got back we haven't really flirted or talked at all. When we talk though he is always very flirty. He still looks at me (more then before) and today day he looked at me smiling when something kinda funny happened.Oh and his friends keep whispering about me. he still likes to talk to me online, but he doesn't email me anymore (even when I ask him to) doesn't say sweet things, etc. At first, I thought he was weird caus he asked me to be his girlfriend on our first date. he doesnt want more children (he has one). we conversed on the phone about a handful of times. he asked my out to dinner and i accepted. while we dined, we began to talk about kids.(i have one too.) I brought up the topic of him not want to have any more kids. he repled "no, i want kids; i never said i that." my response, "i thought i heard you say a few weeks back you didnt want any more kid." he replied again "no, i never said that."

Pros:
-Provides well for family
-Works hard - I can stay at home to raise our children.
-Says I'm beautiful.
-Funny, handsome, smart
-Tells me he loves me.
-Praises kids when they do well.
Cons:
-Zero work at house. does not pick up after himself. After work he sits in front of the TV and "asks" us to bring him his dinner, pop, desert, or whatever he needs. Will leave to chat with his friends at bar for a few hours in the evening or watch TV or go in his room to read. We have 4 kids, I tend to all their needs.
-Leaves the house to golf or ride his Harley for hours whenever he wants. I stay at home with the children.
-asks nicely first, then gets upset or angry when things don't go his way. Then picks on things I did wrong.
-Affair once. Very sorry.
-traces of porn on family computer. says he clicked on one thing and then, surprise, porn popped up. Kids accidently saw titles in file list
-One time pushed son out of way so hard he fell to the ground (12 yr. old 5'8)

my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and a half years. The past 6 months he's changed his ways. he no longer wants to spend anytime with me cause he says i Bi*tch all the time. He never calls me when he says he's going to. He wants to spend more time with his friends then with me anymore. I'm lucky if he'll even come to my house once a week anymore. He has said to me before that i'm retarded, and idiot, that i need to be on meds. ect.. and when I asked him to come spend some time with me at 11pm. he said it was too late.. But he'll go and take medication to a female friend of his when she asks him to at 2am.. even though he was there for 30sec.. he didn't tell me about it, I found out from someone eles. I trust him with all my heart and I know he wouldn't cheat. but we have been fighting and arguing for a while. so If I don't call him for a while and see if he calls me do you think he'll get the point? I want this to work but I can't do it on my own.. any advice?
