Well you had better understand why you didn't tell her. I mean really why. Did you think she wouldn't understand? Did you doubt you would ever need to explain? When you understand why then you need to decide if these reasons are real barriers to you genuinely moving forward. If you think your reasons are not fundamental problems with the relationship then all you can do is explain them to her. Probably in writing as well as in person or over the phone. You then just have to wait for her judgement. Lets face it, this is a very big issue as it implies you were not serious about the relationship or planned never to be open. If her verdict is negative then all you can do is immediately and apolgetically remove yourself from the situation. Immediately. Let her explain your absence to her children and make no contact for an extended period of time. You can ask her if she would like you to remove yourself for a month or two. At this point you may be more likely to form a genuine relationship with somebody you haven't given such a negative impression to. Treat it as a lesson and move on if that is the case. Good luck to both of you.

Are you divorced at this point? This is a difficult thing to ask of someone regarding this type of lie. Why did you lie? You were being deceptive to get what or who you wanted. You need to realize that that's a biggie. I would say it's going to take a lot of work and it won't happen overnight. Mistrust is a very big hurdle to get over and you're going to have to be patient because only she knows the answer to that question. All women would not look at it the same way. If it were me...not a cats' chance---.

So, you lied because you are still marrried? Or she never knew you were married? Try telling her you are sorry, and if you are planning on getting a divorce, tell her why you haven't and when you plan on doing it. If she loves you, you will be able to work it out. Heck, my husband is with a woman who is married, and the four of us, he husband, me, her, and my husband are all having to deal with it, and that's alot of mistrust and lies. Of course, its also at least 1.5 divorces too.

us women tend to hold grudges (as you've probably noticed) but what you need to do, is show her special attention, and you need to explaine to her the situations you were in, and why you lied. You also need to make a commitment not to lie to her anymore, no woman likes to be lied to, so you need to assure her you won't do that again, though only time and honesty will prove this to her, take the time to prove it. What she needs right now is loyalty, and you need to go to great extents to show her loyalty.. Good luck with everything, and I hope everything works out good for you!

You need to give her a real thorough explanation as to why you lied to her about this (I assume because you were afraid she would be mad if she knew the truth?) and then tell her you will do whatever it takes to prove you care and then you need to be 100% honest with her from here on out. Good luck!

lying about something as big as that is a big deal...you won't be able to gain back her trust, and if you do, it won't be for quite some time. you better show how much you appreciate her and treat her like a f*ckin queen..by the way, if you lied about being divorced..does that mean you're still married?

all you can really do is apologize to her. Tell her you love her and how your families bonded and your children bonded and how your heart aches because she is gone. but most of all you truly have to say sprry and you have to mean it.
