Also, am I supposed to pay for it? I did a lot of research & found a shuttle for the airport and added it to our wedding website. Do I wait to receive the RSVP's to tell guests about the shuttle? Am I supposed to "entertain" out of town guests the entire time they are here? Also, my wedding website has A LOT of important, helpful info on there. (all about the ceremony, reception, where to stay, what airport(s) to fly into, shuttle and/rental car info, links to maps of the area, info about the cocktail hour, and anything else you want to give me ideas about would be great.) Is it in bad taste to put a little paper in the invitation with the website address on there?

No, you don't pay for that transportation. Check though if the hotel you're using has a shuttle service to the airport. Many of them do.
It would not be in particularly bad taste to include the wedding website, but remember that some people still don't do the web-surfing thing. Print out the important information on an insert (NOT the invitation), and include that with the invitation.

I think if it is the bride/groom party flying in then you should pay for transportation or arrange it. But any other guest... I think they should take care of it themselves. Unless you feel that close family members must be there that way by paying for it there would be no excuse. Also emphasis that car pooling would be an option with various out of towners. That way the cost is cheaper when shared.
It would not be in bad taste to include the website on a separate piece of paper from the invitations. It is pretty common in planning weddings to have a website with all the information. Just include a section on the transportation issue.

I have recently been looking through many, many wedding books. With out of town guests, they are to get their own transportation, unless you or your family can find a hotel with shuttle service and book a chunk of rooms, this shuttle service may also pick up and drop off your guests at the reception site. And yes your guests are there to see you get married, but mostly they are there to see you and your future spouse, make sure they feel like you appreciate them traveling to see you and don't feel like an inconvenience, give them a list of places they can go and throw an informal lunch where everyone can see you before the big day and congratulate you then, and you can thank them for their travels.

I don't think you should pay for transportation. If they're attending, it is expected that they will incur expenses. Yes, it's a great idea to make a website with all this information on it, by all means you need to get the URL out there for all to see; it's not in bad taste at all. I don't know what other things you need/should put on there to make it easier for the guests; our guest list was so small, I interfaced with just about each person individually to help them make arrangements for an out-of-town wedding. Congrats.

Definitely inform you guests about the website. You can do that with the Save-the-Date cards if those haven't gone out yet. Or send the website info in an e-mail if you know it.
Travel is all up to the guests. It is nice of you to put it on your website, but you don't have to do that. You certainly do not have to pay for it.

Inform them as to what is available and where other than that you don't need to do another thing. If you would like to entertain these people with a brunch you can but don'y feel as though you should entertain them the entire time they are in town. They are there to see the bride and groom get married and the rest of the time they are on their own.
