When I'm around new people, I'm usually very introverted. Even around people I know, I can still be occasionally introverted. But the point is, I'm not usually the type that sees acting like I know the people as a way to get along with them. In otherwords, I'm normally not the first to say hello or introduce myself. I like to know that I'm not dealing with douchebags and like to gradually get to know people over time. They'll ask my name and I'll tell them but the conversation usually dies right there. And even when I choose to initiate further conversation with questions, I normally get looked at or treated weird as if I'm trying too hard. Needless to say, my introversion tends to affect my rapport with the ladies as well, considering they typically love to talk (about themselves). Meanwhile, people who may act just like me are getting treated with more acceptance than me in general. The point is, am I being THAT rude or are they just being lazy, rude to me and showing disinterest?

My preteen daughter enjoys playing hockey and wanted to join a local team, but my husband insists that she shouldn't play sports and instead he enrolled her in a sewing/knitting course. He has always discouraged her from participating in sports because he believes sports is no place for females. She is very passionate about hockey so I enrolled her anyway and secretly take her to practice and games. Am I a bad wife for keeping this from him?

I used to go to this church where this woman used to make rediculous accusations against me. She said I was "stalking" her and stuff like that. And to make matters worse; a majority of the church believed her over me. Of course now they found out that she is a liar after all! But I hold alot of anger and resentment against alot of people that go there because they wouldn't even consider my side of the story as valid! So I don't go to church at all anymore! Going there was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life! But I still believe in God and don't blame him for man's false accusations and slander. Whats funny is not a single person who caused me a hard time goes to church at all anymore! They all left as soon as I did! With the exception of one person but he now attends a different church. But this experience has caused me to re-think how I should approach women. I have an even harder time establishing relationships. Sometimes I think I am better off being single.

Okay, so there's this guy friend of mine and we've known each other about 6 months now, and well not to long ago, maybe about a week and a half ago he confessed to me he's feelings to me. I had told him at first that I had feelings for him only as a friend, but now I constantly think about him and I miss talking to him.The problem is that I'm afraid to hurt him, what do you think I should do, give him a chance, or try to get to know him better?..=(

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOU ANSWER THANK YOU =)

I had been with my boyfriend for two years now. We had been having problems lately because I think he has been taking me for granted. I don't know..he doesn't show affection towards me as much as before when we were only going out for 7 months. Like for example, it is easier for him to say no to me now than before. I guess what Im trying to say is that it seems to me that he thinks he doesn't have to impress me anymore since we had been together for two years now. When we go out, Im not excited anymore..you know? I must admit our relationship is based on a routine now. Is this normal...to lose the thrill of the relationship after being with that person for so long?

My best friend Mandie is staying over at my house for a few days, and we decided to invite over my first love and the guy who I liked for years and years.. So he was over, and Mandie started fooling around with him and making out with him, and I did make it pretty clear that I have strong feelings for him but she insists she has no idea that I felt that way. He likes her back now too! Ugh, and this all happened right in front of me too! Is it wrong to be angry and to feel a bit jealous that she got to be with him only the second time she meets him and I've been waiting years?

Ok so I have a guy in my life who's a really good friend. Well we dated at one point and today I asked him to describe me in one word and he said "beautiful". Well he doesn't like to do the romantic stuff like kissing but he really likes to talk to me over the internet. We talk for HOURS at a time. I was talking to him one time and something happened to me to where people hated me and he said "i love you and care for you, ok?" and I have no idea if he still likes me. Does he? btw...I asked him if he liked me more than a friend and he said "i liek pie" (he's got a lot of nonsense but that's why I love him!)

about my crush and his seductive eyes. One poster said "He's gay!" Now I want to know if a guy doesn't seem gay to me...might the answerer be right? How would a guy be showing gayness by hugging me? I'm a female.

Guys, I have one BIG piece of advice. If you're thinking about turning away from telling a girl you really like her because you're scared of her reaction...think again! I find it so flattering (whether I like a guy or not) when he has the guts to speak his mind. Even if a girl has never really noticed you, I guarantee you will double your chances with her if you speak your mind in a heartfelt manner.

So tell me, are most of you out there scared of rejection?

My husband came home from work today and as usual, the house was spotless, I had dinner prepared, and I had lowered the temperature in the house since he likes it a bit cooler. He still seemed grumpy. Any suggestions?
