Why is it any of your concern on how he handles his losses. Are you a nurse or psycologist? Leave him alone. be friendly but he may be milking this depression thing for all its worth. He needs to learn that life sis full of saddness and he will need to handle it. Stop playing Mother Teresa

I donno. all the fish I have had don't live that long.

If he is truely depressed he might need counseling and some medication.

Loss is a difficult thing in life. It will haapen to us all. He just has had more at one time than others have.

Be a good friend.

Tell him that i feel for him . I have lost about everyone that i have ever known..growing up.I know how he feels.. a pet will sometimes comfort someone but being close to someone and letting them talk about their losses helps alot more.. let him talk and be there for him and tell him its natural to feel sad about losses of people close to him and let him know you care.. and other people feel the same

first, why not find out if he likes fish. personally, some persons do, but if it was me, i would prefer a dog or cat. is he open

to getting counseling? there is no shame when a person admits

being depressed. we all need aid, at times. also, if he has

some type faith: GOD, JESUS, or whoever, he may turn to

his faith in his dark hour. good luck
