Question: Depression?

Question Details: ive been so happy a yr with my boyfriend . i blew off my friends to be with him all the time . & now hes always with his friends like im second best . i am in depression and he knowa yet hes out with his friends and hes like ill be there when i get done hanging out with them . i dont know whats wrong with me .i love him and im so happy to have him yet i still feel Terrible Like i told him that i wasnt feeling my self i felt like i was loosing my mind and he says ill come by after i get done with friends , No one is happy all of the time, but i feel as if i can never find happiness. i feel as if my entire life is devoted to nothing but pain and hurt and loneliness.

If you are under a lot of stress and something even more stressful happened and you are embarassed about it, would u want ur ex gf back to go through tough times with u, especially that she's ur 1st love and the reason for breaking up is u dont know what u want and things are tough for you? when i was in sixth grade (i'm in 10th grade now) i was in love. call it puppy love or whatever, it felt like the real thing. i haven't seen him in two years, and today i came across his myspace. all these weird feelings came back to me.

part of me wants to meet them and part of me doesn't. I guess I'm kind of angry at them, but then I'm kind of happy that they did what they did or gave me up. i have so many questions for them. like why they gave me up and not her. i guess i'm kind of angry about that. my sister wants to also get to know me. but all of this is so hard. i just don't know how to deal. my parents are okay with the idea, but maybe i should just avoid all of this. im just so confused.

I recently posted a question about my boyfriend. Short version...his father has cancer and I selfishly ask for more attention. Now I've thought about it and I realize that I've been stupid. But now we're in this big fight and he won't answer my calls. The truth is I don't know how to help him. I don't know how to help him deal with his father's illness. I think sometimes I just make things worse for him. I think about just letting him go...so that he can deal with everything without me getting in the way. But I'm not sure if he wants that too. I don't know if it would really help the situation or just hurt him more. And I really don't know how to talk to him about anything because I don't know what to say. I mean what do you say to a person who knows they are about to lose their father? And if we stay together, how do we keep this realtionship strong when the both of us are so weak right now? How can I help him without being so selfish?
