I met a guy at my new school and I really like him. I know about him, but I just don't know him as my friend. I'm so shy around him and I always make a fool of myself....any suggestions?

First of all relax. You are probably not making the fool out of yourself in front of him that you think you are. Then ask someone who knows him what types of things he is into as far as music, hobbies, favorite sport teams, etc. Then do a little research on it and strike up a conversation about it. You'll feel confident about what you are saying and this will allow the real you to come through instead of being nervous about looking foolish. Good luck!

tRY BEING URSELF.
If you like this boy then try not too be shy around him and too answer the over question you cant make somebody like you they either do or they dont it is as simply as that..try get too know him what are his likes dislikes,'whats his favourite song that kind of thing..
If this boy likes you he will approach you in his own time but dont push urself onto him you dont want him too think ur easy play hard too get alittle boys like that..
lastly if this boy truly does like you then he will make the first move if you want too be noticed bye him try finding something in common with him like sports that kind of thing but dont do something that you wouldnt usually do off your back...

introduce yourself and be friends with him! you have nothing to lose except your dignity. which can be gained back pretty easily, if you ask me.
