No. You can have a great time just being yourself and doing what you like to do. A lot of times, kids do this because they're away from home and kind of go crazy with their newfound freedom. But you're an adult now, and you can act like one!
The best times I had were with a theatre group I joined for fun, and we did projects and laughed and had a great time without any of that interfering. Good friends, REAL friends, won't pressure you or look down on you if you don't want to do those things. So go, be yourself, do what you like, mind your studies, and everything will be great!

No, believe it or not most college kids are actually trying to learn, and know that screwing this up could ruin their life. Now adays, parents don't necessarily pay for college, the kids have to work, earn scholarships, take out loans. The ones who just want to party get weeded out pretty fast. That said, many do get wasted and have sex. I am not a fan of getting wasted, but sex is a part of life. If you don't want any, just don't do it.

No, definitely not. College is a time when a lot of people get out from under their parents' watchful eye, and a lot of kids can't handle the freedom and go a little crazy. But that doesn't mean that all college kids are like that! When you get to college, you'll find friends that like to do the same things that you like to do--whether that's going to crazy parties, or staying in and watching movies, or acting goofy and playing on the elementary school playground at 3am just for the fun of it. There are as many kinds of people at college as there are in the rest of the world--and you'll find plenty of people who will want to do the kinds of things that you want to do.

Most get wasted and have sex, but that's a minor point. Actually, no,
there are lots of hard-working college students who don't spend their time boozing, smoking, and fornicating. There also lots of hard-working college students who do this stuff as well. Be yourself and you'll be fine. College is a place where all kinds of people co-exist: you'll find your own place.

no, they're not all like that. its not such a terrible thing to do every once in a while, i mean you'll probably get used to being around people that do so. its not scary though, i promise. i never did any of that stuff and didnt plan on it until i got to college. i guess i just became more open because i was away from everyone that kept telling me that those things are bad and they will ruin your life. i say, you only live once, so doing "bad things" every once in a while isnt going to kill you.

Not to say all but most of them lol..If you are not willing to then, just don't do it..But most of the college kids have sex because of friends influence..If they know their friends are doing it,they'll follow..So my advise to you :
1)Don't get drunk
2)Be careful of your drinks(they might put pills inside)
3)Religiously strong
4)Remember that you're in college to study not for sex or relationships..
Don't be afraid ! All the best to you !

No. Get a book about colleges, they will tell you the reputation that a college has for those things. There are some very conservitave colleges which don't have big problems with this.

No way! I am in college and I don't do either of those. I definitely reccomend a private/Christian college, though. Not saying there aren't crazy parties, but there are a lot less. Plus, your chances of finding kids who are like you and I are a lot better! Don't worry!:)

The simple thing to do is not to get wasted when you are in college and then you won't have to deal with the other issue.

No, of course not. Most of the university students in my town spend their time studying and getting political over relatively small things.
