It's pretty well known that women are attracted to guys with money. There was some experiment in which they even took some monkeys and gave one male monkey more food than the other male monkeys and the female monkeys went to him to mate more.

The thing that doesn't make sense is that money is a transferrable object. It has nothing to do with a person's character or looks.

So here's the question:

Let's say you're the type of woman to be attracted to money: If you had two twins standing next to each other, and I gave one a blank check for a million dollars, presumably you'd be attracted to him. If I walked over and took the check away from him and gave it to his twin, would you suddenly feel sexually attracted to the twin?

I'm trying to understand how this works, if it's a genuine emotional attraction, or just logical strategy.

I am in love with a girl and I need to find a way to tell her that I think her feet are the best thing about her, but don't want to seem wierd.

She's very pretty in every other respect but I believe, to me, her feet are what sets her apart from all other girls.

I have been on 3 dates with this guy. He is what you can call a "complete package" - good job, looks, nice personality...well he already introduced me to all his friends on date#2 and on date#3 to all his family!!! We come from similar ethnic backgrounds and his family really liked me. He started planning all the things we are going to do in the future already!!!! I told him we should "slow down" and he became angry. He took that as if I were rejecting him...I like him but this has turned me off big time...any ideas?

Someone I been talking to has hurt my feelings very badly by something that he said, but he did call and apologize. Then he hung up the phone before I had a chance to say anything back. He's very upset and he's also with someone else yet aggravating me about getting back together. This person is not right I know, but what would you do? Would you give him one more chance to explain?

This friends thing confuses me. I see it two ways. One of them I understand. My daughter knows everyone on her friends list first hand or through a first hand friend. I test her once in a while to be sure that she can explain the connections.

The other thing I see is strangers calling each other friends and collecting these stranger friends as if they were real friends. Is myspace like a dating service?

Hey I was hooking up with a guy who recently had to deal with getting a girl pregnant and dealing with that. He said he didn't want to enter a relationship. And this past semester he was trying to focus on school work and said that he didn't want me to have feelings for him. Even though he himself had to take a break because things were screwing with his head. Well he moved out of the dorm we live in and he will be in another city doing an internship, but he will be visiting alot. When he last talked he was more friendly and even used the word "babe" when we said bye. Which he had never done before. And he told me he would like to see me again. His friend and roommate is interested in me, and he asked me if I liked him or not. I said no, and me said that yeah I must like him. My thinking is if I am just a girl that he wants to hook up with why bother, he is just going to find someone else or he will find someone that he likes. Why even bother with me? What should I do?

I've been dating this guy for a year now. Sometimes he would just not call me for like 2 days all of a sudden. It's not normal b/c we talk at least once a day. So when he does that it really bothers me b/c in the past he didnt call me for a week and broke up with me. So any day he didnt call i feel like it could be the start of another week leading to breakup. And sometimes he would say i'll call you tonight but never did. Although he's busy but he never did this to me in the first 6 months we went out. Should i put up with this or break up with him?

I am 34 y/o. I'd like to think I am average looking in that I always make sure I am dressed nicely before stepping out of my house. I have a shapely body but I'm not obesed or fat. I own my house and car and I have one 11 son who lives with me. I am a communicator and always voice my opinions while considering the feelings of others. My issue is this always lands me in the position of being hurt. How should I approach my next relationship or should I approach it at all? At 34, should I hang it up for a bit? And how long ? a friend and i had a fight bcos she found out that i liked her more than a friend from my actions and also that i don't give her enuf space. she said she only likes me as a friend. i asked if we could stay friends but she said no, bcos she's new to relationships and it got weird she found out about my feelings for her.

About a year ago, Me, the hubby & 2 of our 3 children moved from Indiana to California. My oldest son (15, now 16) wanted to stay in Indiana to finish high school. I allowed him to move in with my Mother, she is widowed and was thrilled. However, since then she has been allowing my son to do what ever he wants, without limits and to me it seems she is using him as a surrogate husband, by this I mean, she allows him to make the decisions on dinner, when they eat, what they do, etc... I do not feel this is healthy for my son, or my mother. My mother has lost her ability to discipline my son. I don't want him to hate me, but I am afraid how he will turn out now that he is not getting the proper supervision he needs or discipline. What should I do????
