I mean, I'm not really asking for my own benefit, I'm just curious to what people think about it. My boyfriend left me, and the day of, starting dating a girl that I think caused problems and it was his reasoning, but after two days of being with her, he dumped her and devoted all his time to getting back with me. I mean we're *perfectly* happy now, but do you think it's stupid to get back together with someone who broke your heart? What's your opinion about it? I mean, I know people get back together with ex's all the time, but do most people consider it stupid? I guess the question is on my mind because my friend is going through the exact same bull. So any comment, arguements, I'd love to know what people think. :]

I lost my job forced to take my wife and son to lie with my mother in this ghetto *** neighborhood. I had an apartment my own privacy anything that I wanted to do now completey stripped away now that I lost my job. My wife hates my mother and I do to Im sorry to say. She's hypocrytical and sick it's just driving me to the point where I want to physically hurt her. She doesn't care when I have job interviews that I ask if she could please take me and she says that a $7 an hour security job is better than a good paying office job in downtown Miami. She puts me down everytime I have something going good for me. I just think she does it to break me and my wife up. She disrespects my wife and she barges in at all hours of the night talking all this crazy sh*t while my son is sleeping and when I tell her loom the baby is sleeping she doesnt care. She even went as far as saying that she was going to call child services and have my son taken away from us. Please give me some advice.

So I have posted other questions regarding catholic weddings and am happy to announce that I found a one day pre cana! Now before I choose my church does anyone know that do and dont of the catholic churches marriages? Meaning: Fiance and I have lived together for several years, is this permitted by the church? And we have had premarital sex is this permitted AND he has a child from another relationship.. is this permitted? I dont want to go through finding a catholic church and going through pre cana if they are just going to tell us that we can not get married in there church because of our life choices is all. My husband is sitting here visiting us from Canada. He has stopped supporting the family at all but has dropped in on us for Christmas with presents for the chilldren. I have no money at all. I am in serious debt from trying to keep feeding the children. How do I cope with this? I am ill with something serious as well that has just been diagnosed and am totally freaked out, as I am too sick to work. I was just about to go back to work after looking after the children at home for fifteen years when this happened. My husband had left for a new job, and then I got ill and it all feels like too much but I have to go on for the children. The treatment for my illness is too horrible to contemplate. On top of all this my husband's cruelty is just too much. I feel that he should be here to shelter the children from the impact of my illness - instead he has deserted us and curses me.

My sister in law is higly jealous of me. It oooozzzzessss outta her the jealousy. She has a difficult time seeing her brother and I happy together. I feel like she doesn't want us to be happy.She constantly nags at us about the way we spend money, or the way we live. She trys to brain wash my husband into believing the way she does...but it doesn't work. I am so sick of it. She goes crying to her mom and dad about how "my husband (her brother) and I don't talk to her" She doesn't like the fact we have friends, and she hates it when my parents come to see me...it like really bothers her that I and my family and his family get along. I feel she has no good intentions...any way to keep her in check...and to make sure my husband listens to me over her and understands me how do I do this?

I know this has probably been addressed before, but since I'm new to this site...
We're thinking of having a very simple, but beautiful ceremony on an island and just wanted some opinions. It seems as if this would be less expensive than a NYC wedding. Is this true?
Aside from Sandals, would anyone know of any nice wedding resorts in the Caribbean?
This would be my first time off the US mainland. Which island would be best for a spring wedding?

How did you know you didn't have any other option except to divorce? How did you know your marriage just wasn't worth it anymore? My husband and I just seem to be too different to get along anymore. That was part of the attraction but now it's just so frustrating to just hold a simple conversation with him. I've thought about counseling but our insurance doesn't cover it and we can't really afford it (please no cracks about money...some people out there should know how hard it is). Any thoughts on this, any advice? Thanks!

I found out a week ago that my wife of 7 years is having an affair with a co worker. I have suspected it but she has denided everything. He left a message on her cell phone is how i found out. Then she has came clean. The day after Christmas she tells me that she is moving out and wants to call it quits. We have 2 children toghether and she has 1 prior to us but he is still my son. i want to save my marriage even though she doesn't. She is still seeing him and we are living together for another 6 weeks til she has money to move out. I have a little bit of time but unsure on what to do to make her see that she should stay. He have a beautiful home, great family, we don't fight, money is not a problem. Some friends have said she is having a mid life crisis. She is 29 seeing a 20 year old kid who lives with his mom. Any advice would help. I love my wife and want to see her threw this. We have a good relationship. Feeling lost and confused any advice

Im not sure if this family has the "normal" problems family usually have, or this family is just really messed up.
My husband's grandfather's mother was neglectful and obsessive, the father was alcoholic and physically abusive. The grandfather grew mistrusting woman so he became "macho" and has some hate towards women so he married a woman who was pretty passive, she was also pretty obsessive, the grandfather is kinda controlling and has an addiction to cigars. They had 3 children (my husband's mom, aunt and uncle) my husband's mom (my mother in law) is kinda obsessive, she buys compulsively, is kinda controlling, and gets irritated easily, her sister is very nervous, she needs to take anxiety medicine, the uncle is alchoholic.
Well, it sounds sucky but all of this people also have a good share of good qualities.
My mother in law, father in law and husband insist that their situation is just "reality" and that I have a rose colored view of life.

There's this guy that i really like and i really want that at least we'll become friends. I find himself staring/or just looking at me sometimes, but when i try to do eye ontact with him he looks down in a sort of embaressed way. I have been witht the same guy for almost 2 years and we act like a married couple! I miss how we didn't care about anything and life was easy going. Now we worry about money and other things.
