He should wait until his divorce is final in my opinion. What would that say to the kids if he was introducing them to his new "girlfriend" before he is even legally divorced from his current wife? It is a delicate subject when kids are involved. The less confusion the better.

He should be sure that the relationship is good and will at least last for a little while before going through the trouble of introducing everyone. It's hard on kids to meet someone and have that someone be gone in a few weeks. But, six months seems like it's been a fair amount of time.

First of all you have to be divorced. Then I would wait until the relationship is getting serious and when you both feel that you are in love with each other. Six months does not seem like a long time.

How sure is he that this is the woman who will be around for the long haul? The older the kids the more difficult it will be for them to accept a new woman in their dad's life. This is esp. true if the separation/divorce was nasty. Take it slowly--6 months may be too early

I think till they get married. But, that's not under your control no more it's his choice now. There nothing you can say, endless your the one taking care of the kids all the time wait till the divorce is final and he has set times with his kids.

Have you been separated for six months? The kids are older so I think it's been long enough, they can probably handle it better than you think.

Until his divorce is final and the kids have had some time to heal.

Until he's comfortable enough, and he feels his kids are ready. There is no timeline for something like that, its a personal decision.

they already know who she is and they probably hate her. not only do they see her as the reason for the breakup, but she takes time with their father that he should be spending with them. I recommend someone with less baggage!
