Today my girlfriend told me I'm her safe haven? What does this actually mean?

I do not wish to be too nosy, but I would love to hear what it is that people like about their parents. Do you approve of their lifestyle, their taste, their social life, their spiritual beliefs .... or is it that they live a beautiful life .... or have a lovely home.... or have a nice family (you included) ... or are they generous with money ... with their time, with their concern for you (regardless of how old you are) .... do you think they stand behind you and encourage you to be who you are and to do your best (any of the above?????) Is either of them a teriffic cook, or do they go on wonderful vacations and take you with them? Are they considerate of you? Do they help you cope with the world by teaching you good manners, helping with your studies ..... or are they supportive of your marriage, if you are of that age ... do they like your children? Are you welcome in their home, if you are on your own or married?
Are they beautiful and glamorous? Please? Ta!

Ive never had a boyfriend, and others are always with someone while Im single. I am a freshmen in college, I run track, and Im the editor of my school newspaper and i work for a community newspaper for my other paycheck. i am told im pretty, but i never get anyone to ask me out! I cant understand this phenomenon! Everyone says i will eventually find someone, but ive never been asked out! Help! People like my mom tell me i dont need one, but all my friends say i do. what do you think is the reason no one asks me out, and do i even need one?

I don't know...the guys want to come over and watch Indiana Jones tommorow night and my sister wants to come over because she likes one of them and I don't know if that is a good idea because that movie has a lot of violence in it and there is these kissing scenes between two unmarried people and I don't know if that is appropriate. Dad and I usually cover her eyes during the inappropriate parts but I want to be able to enjoy the movie with my buddies and it would be crowded so my sister might have to sit on my lap which I don't mind because she is really petite but you know the guys might make some sicko incest comment and crap like that....what should I do?

I am my youngest aunt's maid of honor. We are fairly close, more so than the other family members. She has just emailed me indicating that my boyfriend of two years, whom I also live with, is not invited due to "wedding invitation restrictions." The location at which she has reserved her wedding is limited to about 120 people. She, via email, said she's very depressed about it and would understand if I backed out, granted with fair time warning.

I less want to go to the wedding, but also want to as it is a great honor. At the same time, I would rather have my boyfriend there. There is no reason other than that that he is not invited, he has been to family dinners and they (from what impression I can gather) like him.

Any advice?? How do I tell my boyfriend??

Recently my 10 year old daughter was unable to attend a friend's birthday party. However we still purchased a gift for her that cost thirty dollars and brought it to her friend at school. The very next day her friend informed her that she had sold it on a website (similar to Ebay) because she didn't want it. My daughter was extremely hurt by this because we spent good time and money choosing a gift that we hoped she would like. To outright tell my daughter that she didn't like it was hurtful, and to share the fact that she had sold it added insult to injury. Apparently her mother even went to the trouble of going to the store to see how much it cost, which I'm imagining was to help them determine how much to sell it for. My question is, should I contact the mother to let her know how upset my daughter was by this behaviour? Should my daughter talk to her friend about it? She's wondering if she even wants to be friends with this little girl anymore because she hurt her so badly.

my bf broke up with me about a month and a half ago...because he said we "fought too much" we fought because he wouldnt make time to be alone with me. we were with his friends 24/7 i wouldnt see him every day and when i didnt he would be with them and when i DID we would still be with him. I was with him for almost 3 YEARS and he met his friends THE LAST year we were together. so it's not like they were friends before we got together.

i just saw him last week and he said he wanted to try to be friends with me, would make time to see me, and didnt want to hurt me. said he wasnt seeing anyone, hasnt messed around with anyone. but today i found out hes in a ******* relationship already. apparently he was lying about everything he said. and i dont deserve it when i gave him the best i could give with everything. no we never had sex. thank you! he wanted to wait just like i did. we both have great morals. but now hes with a stupid whore who is practically naked on her damn website.

this guy at my school who attends they same school as i, always stares at me and i feel its disrespectful; and i feel embarrassedl. he has done plenty of times ,everytime im by myself, he could even be in a group of girls and he does it and when he's by himself. he never says anything which perplexes me.i looked at him one time when he did and he continued to stare. but for some strange reason he speaks to me in public everytime i might happen to see him around. i dont understand, does he dislike me for some strange reason? If you have read my other question then this is about it the same thing. I really want to get back on her because i hate the way she makes me feel. But i know she is the jelous one. I have a feeling she is going to say something again like that knowing her. So anything i can say to her that will make her stop or just let her know the way she is saying stuff like that is because she knows i'm a better dancer?? I am currently a stay at home mom, I am not used to it so I need advice on what my "job" is. I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old.My boyfriend/father of my children of 5 years works M-F 8 hours a day. I get so pissed of at him for not helping me out. I Clean,Do the laundry,Cook, Play and take care of the kids 24/7.When I say something about it to him he'll make a comment like I don't like my job either. Well when do I get a damn day off? He hasn't even changed a diaper on my 4 month old, He'll never get up to get the baby when he's crying he'll wait for me to do it.Then when Im trying to finish up something and the baby won't stop crying he might get up to get the baby and then ask me why I didn't bring him the baby. Well I don't think I should have to. He can hear.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I shall stand up for myself and I should to use fight back against someone who's treating me and making me discourged. You know that I was very smart and attractive.
