The honeymoon is not supposed to last forever. When its over, life resumes, but in a whole different way. The love should not end, and sex should still be done in love, but arguments can never always be avoided. Just get over them and get past them. No marriage can become a strong one unless it can weather storms. It's just like working out; the more you deal with, the stronger you become. I would advise you to be patient and keep working on it.

Of course there are ups and downs. Consider people who haved been together for up to 50 years. They have dealt with school, jobs, sex problems, kids, pets, homes, more sex problems, layoffs, moving, family, deaths, more sex problems, neighbors, tornados, gas prices, fires, and of course more sex problems.
Most couples will never make 50 years, I suppose it all depends what you are looking for in the beginning, sometimes a one night stand can be a wonderful beautiful thing.
