When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

heres the deal my boyfriend and I hve been together for about 3 months and his baby's mother was pregnant at the time she broke up with him we got together everything was so good despite the drama that she caused all the time, he didnt have anything to do with her becuse all the lies she made up about him and myself he was just going to go over to her house once the baby is born well...the baby has been born and its been here for about a week, and i feel soo left out of the picture i understand he has a responsiblity to take care of but its weird when u go from being number 1 on his priorty to 2nd and he stays at his ex girlfriends house all the time now..he didnt even call me in the morning after he woke up he went straight to her house i feel so bad and i'm about ready to give him up but i dont want to because i love him. i feel like he might forget about me complety and they may get back together because all the time he spends over there....please give me some advicee!!

I think that this is strange. You know, when parents have kids, they grow up and make new families. But it seems that they do not bring their parents along. Why not? The children can have his parents and his grandparents. What difference does it make? I am asian and we do not leave our parents in their own. Sometimes, they are really old and usually aren't able to do things themselves, it is also a good way for the family to be closer. i see things differently. I think that people who do this is irrespectful. I know that my mom's friend work in some buildings for old people..you know where they don't have alot of physical energy and need more care, they go into that place. Her friend said that those old folks buy gifts for their children hoping that they would come and take them for christmas. but they never come. This is sad...Is this how westerners treat there parents? are you expecting the same for yourself?

Then you don't have to answer to anyone!!! You can do what ever you want! Marriage does not last these days! I choose to stay single. I love it! But I like to be alone. So I guess this wouldn't be for everybody. But A least I can stay Disease free, and burden free! I wouldn't risk bringing another child into a world and country like this. It would be Cruel to the Child. Because people these days Have no conscience. And no respect for other individuals.

How does one go about comforting/giving advice to someone who is going through extreme hardships in their life with no signs that things will get better in the near future. In fact, it’s pretty guaranteed that things will get worse and stay like that for the next several years. I personally have never been through something remotely has hard, so I have no idea what to say except that I will pray for them. Any advice?

I am wandering after surfing the net i saw a question that spawned this one in my mind. So what is it that causes attraction to others? If i become attracted to a girl why is that? They are alway on our case about things like page 3 .. porn mags.. strippers .. etc,...

but have you ever seen the difference between the way they act with a male stripper...? .. or a pop star/celebritie..?

im absolutley crushed..my boyfriend of a couple months just dumped me out of nowhere, for not really any good reason, yesterday. im extra hurt because i lost my virginity to him because i thought i could trust him..and last week, he told me he loved me..and a couple days ago he did..then yesterday he just DUMPED ME...said "were different people". Ok, me and my wife split (not legally yet) around 6 months ago when she moved out and moved in with her best friend, she also too my kids. This wasn't that bad as they only lived a mile away. She got in a fight with her best friend and they ended there friendship (something about my wife sleeping with her friends husband and brother). Me being the nice guy I am let her move back in and sleep on the couch. So now for the last month+ her and the kids have been living with me and I've been paying all the bills. She has recently started meeting other guys and I have told her I don't feel comfortable with her dating while she is living with me. I am to the point where I'm gonna kick her out cause I just can't handle these guys calling the house and her slutting around while living here rent free and I'm supporting her and the kids. She does work, but only makes like 500 a month and can't afford her own place. How can I keep her from leaving the state we are in?

I have never felt totally comfortable with them.They make me feel like I am under-excited about everything because they are always trying too hard. I think it has to do with being adopted.

My fiance absolutely does not want his parents there on his wedding day, for reasons I respect and understand. He wants us to be totally comfortable, which I agree with.

So how do I get over this feeling that I am doing something wrong?
