My friend asked me out so i can buy her ice cream and i'm like yeah fine, i wanted to go today but she was like 'nah i gotta stay home to clean up' and we ended up changing it to friday (because i have work tuesday, wednesday and thursday). I like her and i want to start going out with her, she gave me signals that she liked me last week but now she's acting like she doesnt really care when i call her. What do you think?

I started dating my boyfriend about 5 months ago. We are very much in love with each other. Everything is perfect (too good so far) except that I am just concerned that if he drinks about a case of beer in a week- it may be a sign that he could have a drinking problem. My father and mother got divorced because my dad was an alcoholic and I do not want to marry and alcoholic and end up in divorce to. Not if I can avoid it. I am just proceding with caution and I don't know if this would be a reason to consider ending our relationship over this. I care for him so much but just don't want to be blind to a potential long-term problem. What do I do? Any advice or suggestions? If a person drinks a case of beer a week make you an alcoholic?

I know, gift questions are annoying.... but.... my nephew's parents are going through a nasty divorce. My library had a used book sale and I got him 40 books on all different topics. I thought I'd clean them up and add stickers "from the library of Danny"... is that a good Christmas gift? Since the books only cost $8 should I give them "just because" instead?

Okay, I have been dating this guy for about two months. And I've had three very similar dreams about him.
The first one..
I dreamed it was our wedding day.

The second one...

The third one...

My boyfriend is always on the computer. We come home from somewhere and he pratically runs upstairs to the computer. When he was little, his mom bought him of with computer games, he has these real high tech computers. Now he tells me that he keeps his sanity with the computer. I asked him if there was anything else that he could do or we could that would help him keep his sanity. See he has this 48 year old brother that isn't happy till he ruins everyones lives and my boyfriend has to take his ****, because anytime he says anything to his brother , the mother says can't you two get along, its like his brother can't do anything wrong. extramarital sex acceptable? One spouse is no longer interested in sex and the other is. The one who is doesn't want to obtain permission, but doesn't want to finish life sexless, either. The no permission caveat has to do with the possibility that some day the not interested spouse might change and it would suck to have the issue always skulking in the closet.

This guy has befriended my mom and has well and truly settled in. He has no job and sponges off of her. She thinks he's great and praises him endlessly for evrything he does ie odd jobs around the home and shopping. But, when she is not there he is arrogant and very very unfriendly toward myself ad my brother, then when my mom apppears agin he changes into this friendly suck upp again. Every time she complains about someone he agrees and riles her up, and then sucks up by offering to ie go to the supermarket seen as so and so didnt etc etc...
I really dont know what to do, he has poisened her friends againt her and i barely ever visit cos he's always there (he has no job and never has) and she always defends him if i say anything, telling me that i have no right to be like that about her friends and he is nicer to him than anyone. Can anyone offer me a solution on how to get him to go away, without my mom hating me forever???please help

The problem is that i hardly ever get to spend time with my gf like the only time i get to see her is at school and i only have her in one class. she told me that she doesnt want her parents to know about us cause they would make fun of her.
