I have recently left someone after caring for them for 7 years he emotionally abused me for the last 3 years and has hit me before too, and we have 2 children..Just GO....Email me if you like..Good Luck..:)

Will an adult child of this type of marriage do?
My father was so incredibly abusive, especially to our mom, but us too. The damage it's done to us will haunt us forever, it will shape who your children will become and it will keep them from ever becoming what they could have been
Do whatever it takes to allow your children to grow up in a positive loving home, you nor they will ever regret it. Could you say the same would be true otherwise? Good luck, and may your heart heal quickly! The mental scars will take longer, but you can do this!
