Wow, this is highly unusual for a 7 year old not to tell you what she wants for Christmas! But you need to appreciate her, in the fact that she tells you she only wants you and dad! That is so wonderful and remarkable at the same time.

Of course, you do need to get her something special for Christmas, not only because she is your daughter, but because she is a very special child.

Doesn't she like any games? If not, would she like new curtains and a new bedspread or comforter in her room? Does she enjoy reading? How about a few books? Since you must have a very special relationship with her, maybe she'd also love to do something special with you. How about a train ride somewhere she hasn't been? A train ride in the mountains? somewhere educational? What are her favorite foods? Maybe you could take her out to her favorite restaurant! Does she like movies or educational things on tv? Maybe you could buy her a couple of dvd's of things she would enjoy watching. Maybe get her a gift card somewhere, maybe a movie gift card, to be used soon, or later, to a movie she'd love to go see. Bake her some of her favorite cookies, and wrap them up!

Even though she doesn't care for toys and is not asking for anything material for Christmas, there really are a lot of special things you could either buy for her or do for her, inorder to make this Christmas a very special time not only for her, but for you and your husband as well.

Hope your holidays are great!!!!

Well, in that case give her what she wants! Instead of buying her something, just take her somewhere for a holiday or something. You know, just your family. If you are a busy person, then just go for a picnic that day. When there, do things your daughter likes doing and just make sure she has the best time of her life!! If you choose to go for a holiday, let her pick the destination. When there, spend most of the time with her and let her pick the activities.

Hope you have a good time with your daughter. And, by the way Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

Give her some crafts! I always loved making stuff at that age. Or something like an Easy Bake Oven....I have great memories from my childhood because of that, hehe.

Then spend time, her father and yourself, with her. Take her to the movies or to the zoo or something. Buy a board game for all of you to play.

Get her some basics: underwear, socks, a cute outfit... and then take her somewhere...to appreciate how generous she is...more kids need to be like her.
