The question seeks desperation if im being honest. Ask yourself the questions why do you desperatly 'really really need' a g/f, because from what i've learnt this normally means you have issues which are stopping y/self from getting 1.
Perhaps you actually dont need one, but due to peer pressure you're thinking you need one, maybe you have commitment problems and as wierd as it sounds you asking out for help is your way of saying this.
G/f's and b/f's arn't life and death and you'll probably find that you will meet some1 when you least expect it - im not speaking from experience here. Im single and i dont feel the pressure to go and get myself a gal, it'll happen when it'll happen theres nothign you can do about it.
If you try and find some1 desperatly your leading yourself up for a fall. there's no point rushing things because do you really need a g/f, being single can be fun. As my cousin used to say "being single is a gr8 freedom there's no pressue and it allows you to seed your oats" i dont know what the last bit meant but i think its trying to say you can do what you want on your own and learn from the world experience.
Trust me you don't need a g/f at the moment, what you need is to look at yourself and ask yourself what you really need and whether having a g/f will benefit this at all.

The begging and desperation is a HUGE turnoff for any woman worth having...not to mention that you don't NEED a girlfriend, you want one. A need is something you can't live without, and you can definitely live without a girlfriend.
Make friends with girls, find one you like, and ask her out.

Why? do you need a girlfriend? lol. if the world was perfect i would have an unreal boyfriend but i am single. Get out there and do different thing's you never will know unless you give it a go..Good Luck :)
