im,e 36 and have grow up children, but i got married this year to ny long term partner of 17 years,my eldist son is 20 on the 12th of this month,his dad died when he was one,it was suicide and i dont mind talking about it now, things are different now but i wpuld love t chat t some one who has bin threw the same thing, i can,t be the only one

A lot of the ones that I meat are so insecure that they put on some kind of act or the other extreme---they don't talk at all. What's up with that?

Someone your not interested in if it was a free all expenses paid trip to Vegas? I just came out of a bad relationship and haven't had very good luck with dating non-players. There is this man that I am good friends with I'm 28 he's 32 and he makes a lot of money. A group of us hang out as friends and had planned to go to Vegas for New Years. He said he would pay for me if I wanted to go. He's really cool travels a lot but it's more about I'm not that attracted to him. i told him I didn't want a relationship right now and he was cool with that. But I would really love to get away for New Year's is it ok to just take him up on his offer? he likes me and ask me out a lot and I go out with him some because I want us to remain friends.

I am the middle child in my family and the only girl. I have an older brother and a younger brother.
Both are geniuses! My older brother is so skilled and talented at everything, particularly at History and Philosophy and all that deep jazz. People come up to me at school (people I do not know at all!) and tell me he's a genius. He thinks of literally amazing theories. They ask me how he does it.
My little brother is a perfectionist and has A+s in every single subject. He just received the high honors and got 1st place in our city and 3rd place in the country for a mathematics competition. All that and he is a brilliant artist.
Ok, so my brothers are freaking GENIUSES. I KNOW it's hard to believe but PLEASE trust me on this.
And I.....am nothing. I try so hard. Honestly. But I am never as good as them. I feel so outshined and depressed, especially lately.
My brothers are often emotionally unstable, and have horrible tantrums. I read up on it, and gifted people do act like this.

well heres how it goes. i was dating this guy from another town he broke up with me b/c we didnt see each other that much. (which we did). i was really upset and hurt, i never wanted to talk to him again.
now he called me saying he missed me and wants to go out again. i sorta still liked him and i tole me 'close friend' and now shes going around the entire school and telling everyone that i still like him and that we are going out.
now id be fine with that if i DID like him but i dont.
and now we have a winter formal coming up and since shes been telling everyone that (espically the guys) now im afraid no guys are going to ask me to dance =[
what do i do ? this is so not how i pictured my winter formal going

Hi Guys,

To all of you nice caring people who have hearts and answered my question, well it wasn't a question as such, just me thanking YA. But anayway guys, there were lots of u nice folks from all over the world who all answered politely, sensibly, with a caring heart etc I would like to thank u all so much I really aqppreciate it, I even had people contacting me via Yahoo im, but as I am disabled and not 2 good on pc's there was another one of u guys trying the same, if it was u ,I am sorry, I do apologise.

I have been seriously dating this guy for a year...things were great at the beginning..like usual...then recently he's not as attentive, and doesn't spend time with me...i feel lonely and unhappy...but i love him...now recently i have been speaking over the phone with a guy i was dating b4 my current guy...and im having 2nd thoughts about my current relationship...i have spoken to my boyfriend about how i was feeling and he says he'll change.

should i give him another chance.. or should i end it and go with someone who i know will keep me happy all the time?

He keeps sending me mean emails and text messages..because after the second date..he mentioned marriage..and I told him I didn't want to go out on anouther date w/him, nicely.
After he got mad and started w/the continous harrasment.
I told him I would put a restraining order on him. He still doesn't stop, even though I threatened him. I have been ignoring his comments.

So I have been really good friends with this guy for about five years now. We hung out a lot back in high school and had a lot of fun together. I was involved in a serious relationship with another guy for about two years, so me and him kind of drifted apart. A couple years ago when I was single we started hanging out alot again. He asked me out, and back then I had no intentions of being involved in a relationship since I had just gotten out of one. He totally understood, and we just became closer friends. When my lease was up we both needed a place to live so we decided to room together. Ever since we have been living together i have had really confusing thoughts and feelings about him and I. Its been about eight months, and I have come to the realization that I am in love with him. Im just not sure how to handle this because I don't want to risk our friendship. I think he likes me to, but im never quite sure if its just flirting fun and games or if he is serious.

I know that one night stands take place between two consenting adults but is it possible for a man to truly respect a woman that he meets in a club, buys a few drinks and is able to take her home at 4 in the morning, and screw her. Other than for sexual purposes is it likely that he'll be calling her anytime soon or would he pretty much not be interested into pursuing anything more with her than just sex?

ive know this guy a while.i met him through my fiance who i was with for 6 years.i ended my relationship 8 months ago.not cause of this guy.he knew my ex.they were not friends.my ex as moved away.

me and this guy live in different towns.he used to ask me out now and then,just for a drink,when i was with my ex but i never did.

since i split from my ex,i asked him if he wanted to meet up for a drink.he said yeah,give me a call when you next in my town (im originally from that town and frequently visit).

since, we have only been meeting up by "chance".nothing is planned.we just text eachother whenever we are out in town to see if the other one is out.this has been going on for months.it can be months before we meet.

we have kissed and ive stayed back at is 4 times cause i dont live in his town.he did try to take things furthher sexually but i said no.he still wants to see me tho.

i asked him why he texts me all the time and why i dont hear from him in the week. cont.....

I like to talk to alot of people, but not online or through the phone, etc, because when i do most people i talk to just give me one worded answers and ticks me off, plus i dont really get the sence of talking to people... does anyone alse have this or am i just going to hell?
