Meet a guy after a week of bantering on-line. We had a nice time and we seemed to hit it off then his behaviour went bizzare?

He e-mailed for a couple of days - just one liners. I told him I thought it was weird and asked if he was married or looking for a one nighter. he wrote back and said no I like you and want to see you again. I always respond back with one-liners that don't really say anything more than what he says. Then his e-mails got further apart and when he does email it only with one-line jokes. Not sure what it means....maybe...

He didnt want to tell the truth and isnt that interested but didnt want to say so? (coward)

He is testing me to see how I will react?

He's busy - he hasn't been online very much at all since we met?

Guys - what would make a guy do this?
Girls - Has this ever happened to you?

I just think it's weird and should I stop responding altogeather?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 7months. I am 18, she is 17. We are so in love with each other, and there is nobody I would rather be with. We have talked about marriage, and more specifically, I have mentioned getting engaged when she is 18, and getting married when she is out of college. My friends tell me im rushing into things, and should just get a promise ring. What would be the difference between getting a promise ring and getting engaged, and would it be a bad idea to actually get engaged? Both of our parents are also behind us in every way, so they are not an obstacle.

I have a mate who I like more than a friend. He says he doesn’t see me as more than a friend, which I accept. But he does fancy me. I am going to move on but I wish he would change his mind. Has anyone ever been in this situation and did the person have a change of heart about the way they saw you?

I'm the only person I know who had a dad like this, nobody even has one similar....lol, most of my friends parents are things like doctors or own their own businesses or whatever.

He was a long haired rocker/hippie/outlaw. I don't remember him ever having hair shorter than his shoulders. He was constantly listening to music, or playing it on his guitar. I grew up listening to the Stones, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty and all the greats. He was an artist, a poet, a musician and on the whole a good man. There's no other word for him except for cool. He was smooth...lol, everybody liked him. He was intelligent and sophisticated and the best man I've ever known. Unlike some other fathers, he did things with me and actually enjoyed them.....just simple things like playing cards, but it meant a lot. There's no words to truly describe him, but that's the best I can do.

Ok, this might have seemed lame but I just felt like telling a bunch of strangers about my late dad. I'm 18 now and he passed away 3 years ago, and I constantly think about him. I enjoy remembering my dad, but I'm just coming out of a depression that was triggered by his death. Sometimes though (and often) I can't help but think about him.....especially during major moments, like when I got my license. Any advice on how to deal with this better, because so far I've been doing a crappy job.

My mate wants to get back with his ex. They were together for over two years. He said they argued a lot (at least one arguement a week) and eventually they split. Why would someone want to get back into a relationship where there was alot of arguing? I can't see why? Surely the arguing shows you are not campatable.

I have two issues that I need help with:

My daughter is 14 and lives with her dad in another state. He has custody and we are divorced. She is not doing well in school and is lonely in life. He says that her habits are bad in terms of getting up in time for school, being organized, cleaning up after herself. I have asked him to send her to me, but he says that she makes a face and does not want to come. He says that I will be helpless in a few years when my parents are gone and I have a ruined daughter on my hands. How should I handle this issue?

The second issue is that a family friend who lives in another state talks okay to me on the phone, but I found out that she told another mutual friend not to help me look for a job. It would make that friend look bad since she is new on he job. She is two faced and I feel very disappointed about it. She routinely gossips about me and my issues to others. I don't know if I should tell her off or just ignore it.

The ex-husband is on disability income, the ex-wife gets a check from SS for child support, but doesn't use it to buy the child clothes and school supplies and other things that the child really needs. When asked about it, she says that she uses it to provide food and shelter for the child. Isn't she and her now husband suppose to do that anyway with the income they get from their jobs? She and the present husband have two more children now, The present husband quit work and is not trying to get disability, and I am not sure what is wrong with him. Seems to me that he should provide some income, and that would be an income from him, an income from her, an income from SS, and the child is 17 now and working part time, providing a little for needs. I do the best I can, which can not be much since I am on disability. Am I suppose to do more when they are getting, or suppose to be getting 4 checks from 4 different sources?

Ok, so I like this girl that I've gone to school with for 2 years (Small school), were really good friends and its one of those friendships where (Not meaning to sound cliche) you can be yourself, and I guess it finally dawned upon me that i like her, but I dont want to ruin the friendship we have because i know if i do ask her out and she says no, things would be awkward. Anyway i guess what im asking for is, any good advice on some subtle hints and ways to show her that I like her?

i feel so guilty. i think i love my friend. is loving a friend normal?. can friends love eachother and get on as well as couples do?. i feel guilty because i feel that my friend may have loved me before. but because it took me time to admit to my feelings that i had always had for her i feel that she doesnt anymore. is it my fault? i feel that if i had done things differently we may have been more thand just friends.we have always flirted with eachohter but she always seemed to have a bf.GETS COMPLICATED than i met her sister and we got on really well.she asked me out and i accepted because i couldnt admit to the feelings that i knew i had for my friend.a week later she dumped me.althougth this could be the reason that my friend went off me i feel it was a blesssing in disguise.it actually helped me to admit to myself that i loved my friend. but is it too late?i didnt do anything with her sister not even kiss.we get on aswell as before so is it my fault that she could have gone off me?

I dated a guy for about a month, and he found out about something from my past, and he was hurt by it. We didn't talk for a week, and then he asked me to come over to his house and talk with him about it. I apologized, and he said he forgave me, and then he said he wanted to still see me, except that he wants to move slowly. Does moving slowly mean that he's just not that into me?

Just last week he came to my door shouting to phone an abulance as his wife had collapsed in the street .

I duly told him that there is no such thing and slammed the door firmly in his face.

He meant ambulance.

Hehe damn foreigners eh?
