I have a mate who I like more than a friend. He says he doesn’t see me as more than a friend, which I accept. But he does fancy me. I am going to move on but I wish he would change his mind. Has anyone ever been in this situation and did the person have a change of heart about the way they saw you?

Sometimes. Depends on the perosn. I certainly hope it works out for you. People DO change, usuall not all that much. It depends mostly on your history and whether they think you have EARNED the chance. Most people wont' take into account the fact that you HAVE changed. There's a few people that I would like to see that Ih ave changed but they are way too stubborn.

yes i had a similar thing with a good friend of mine, id known him(and fancied) for 18 months before he finally saw me in that way, but it did end quite quickly and we ended up not being friends afterwards, id suggest moving on and keeping the friendship, im a great believer in if its meant to happen it should be easy none of this waiting around, look for someone who is interested in that way...good luck

Do you really want to be with a person who said he's not into you and has to change his mind to see how wonderful you are? Move out and move on. Find someone who adores you, not someone who has to be "made" to have feelings.

Hard to see him changing his mind. I once had a similar experience with someone. After a party and well oiled, we did get it on. Big mistake. Jim M

Darlin, people have different personalities and b coz there are so many different personalities, people change there opinion in a second. It is same as "why do people change their hair colour" b coz some people might have liked their hair colour e.g. black and now they hate it so then they will change it to blonde!!!!!!

I think he's made his feelings clear.Yes, people can have a change of heart but I wouldn't wait around for it to happen. Unfortunately, it's not that likely.
