My wife every now and then digs up my past and reminds me about my ex-girlfriend. I dont like remembering the times that i've spent with my ex-girlfriend, b'coz the thought that i diched her hurts me (i had reasons to do so). I had an arranged marriage with my wife and have told everything about my ex to her, just to be truthful (i dont like to hide things). She is well aware that i am hurt when we discuss my ex. then why does she have to keep doing it? Please help me resolve this...

Okay so here is my situation: I am 20 years old and have been talking to this guy (24) whom I was introduced to online from a mutual friend. We instantly clicked when we talked online and have so many things in common (like the same music, both drink green tea, both want to keep our heritages and pass it on to our kids, and we often say the same things (like twins we say the same stuff at the same time)). (through our chats I got the hint that he was into me). After about 2 months of talking online we met and I found out that he is majorly into me. I am majorly shy and am scared of where this could go. He is also shy but is really wanting to ask me out (my friend told me). My issue is that I dont even think that I like him...we have too much in common..we are the same person sometimes. I dont think I am attracted to his personality...will that change?

I am a 21 year old female student in LA. I met another woman my age and we're in love. There's one huge issue that is troubling me: my girlfriend doesn't want to be my "girlfriend" in public. She's an aspiring actress and thinks being publicly perceived as a lesbian would harm her career. My girlfriend has said that it is OK for us to tell family members about our relationship (we have, and they all approve), but that in public, we need to be "just friends"--and that from time to time she will have to appear to have a "boyfriend" in order to squelch rumors she is a lesbian.

I am torn. I love my girlfriend and want to be with her. I also want to be honest about who we are. I don't want to put unreasonable demands on her, but as time goes on and our relationship deepens, I am afraid that this will be a secret impossible to keep--and both of us are going to be terribly hurt. My father agrees that being "publicly lesbian" CAN harm her acting career--and I don't want that at all!

My gf of 4 months really likes me and I really like her (We make this clear to each other). The problem is that she tells me her 1 yr older sister doesn't like me...her sister is about the same age as me. I've been seeing this girl exclusively since the start of the semester and we hung out all summer. She's awesome I really care about her a lot and wanna see us go far. The problem is that she was hanging around my apartment the other day while I was at class and found pics of me and my ex (from last spring we dated for a year). It wasn't sexual or anything but just us hangin out and out on vacation and with my family. There was a couple of us kissing. She told me shes not mad at me and that's "what she gets for snooping around" and says shes ok with it now but I just have the feeling it hurt her to see me with someone else. What should I tell her? Do you think I'm overreacting or could this be a problem in the long term???

I've now been seeing my girl for about seven weeks. We've had a fantastic time so far. I'm seeing her tonight and on the weekend. I'm worried that as I become more of myself (being the knight in shining armour so far) that I can't reassure her that I want to be with her as much. My girlfriend say that she wants to marry me and spend the rest of her life with me. We argue alot and I often try to give her an easy way out of the relationship by telling her things like, we can just be friends, maybe she should find someone that she wouln't have to argue with as much, or she may be able to do better with someone else. I try to trust that she tells me the truth, but under the circumstance its very difficult. She has alot of good qualities about her and I would like to marry her, but in my gut I have reservations.
