I have been married for 23 yr. I married when I was 18 after having dated only my husband from the age of 15.5. After all these years I still cannot get used to my husband screaming at me and always telling me I am "stupid" if he gets even slightly irritated. I have tried everything I know to convey to him how hurtful this is but it never stops. help me somehow to find a way to cope with this. I am the type of person who will laugh to keep from crying. I am an internalizer. It's just the way he makes me feel when he talks to me 80% of the time. Like I am a low-life. And yet at other times he is kind too me, tells me how much he appreciates all that I do for him. Whats your take?

so i have a wonderful girl who i have been dating for a long time... well recently we have been having problums because she doesnt think i appreciate her anymore when i really do and she doesnt think i really care anymore as well. i love her to death but when i express myself she says they are only words and i dont mean it... how do i show her i care. oh yeah she doesnt like the flowers. thanks

I think in my oppinion it goes both ways in occasions.
like for a guy its alot harder to love, Women seem to not realize that and alottimes will blow it off and if you push a guys feelings to far he'll turn cold as Ice, Now with women I dunno they get in like a hatimng frenzy towards guys thinkin bout all the shitthey hate bout guys and this can cause a woman to close her heart to men and can also cause her to change her sexuality? whats your oppinion im curious

we r in d same collage.i never told her my feelings,we were just friends,once i send a sms n den she asked me about my feelings for her,i told d truth,then she told me she doesnt have feelings 4 me.i told her its ok,we r still friends,after that me and she exchanged d normal msgs for 2 days,then she suddenly changed her no. n given to all except me,also neither talking nor msging me,i hav her no. taken from her friend,when i ask somthing she reply otherwise no,it becomes 1 month now,please help me what to do,she had a bad past experience,she fell in love badely with one of our batchmate,he hasimage now.she was tortured by many of girls and they started avoiding her by saying charecterless,i knew d truth n now she is 1 of our good natured girl,since then i never saw her talking with any guy r girl from last one year except me n few ,d guy she loved got failed n in 1st year,we r in 2nd year,i love her very much,i myself is most reputed boy in d class,why she is not talking 2 me,help me

Im married and have a daughter...however, unknown to my wife, i met and feel in love with a girl, and have a relationship for more than 5 years, she's now 27 and im 35. A couple of months ago, we agreed to end our secret relationship for good. I told her to find for a right guy among her suitors..and she told me take care of my wife too. We're not seeing each other now and minimizes phone calls too. I tried to be busy with my job and my family so I can forget her...by the way, divorce is not allowed in our place.

Is it okay to fall in love with your bestfriend? He's nice, and I could be myself when he's around. He protected me when I was almost ganged, and he got stabbed for that (I feel guilty!). Then one day, he was waiting outside our door, when i opened it, I accidently kissed him! I thought he was my dad! Oh my God, then he blushed! And I kinda felt uneasy...What should I do? Ok, so one day my friends were laughing and I heard my name being mentioned. They wouldn't tell me what it was so I went undercover and listened in on them. It was about me so I think I have a right to know! Anyway, I found out that they were laughing at me because this crazy guy likes me. All my friends think he's weird and obnoxious. I hang out with guys a lot because they make me laugh. I really get to know them. I think he's nice, funny, and very sweet. If I go up to him and tell him I like him, my friends would make fun of me and they'd most likely ditch me alotta the time. I don't want to lose my friends but I think the guys really sweet. What should I do? Please don't make fun of me or anything like that because this is an important situation.

is it ok to not like a person for being a mama's boy? i mean a huge mama's boy. he will only see me like once very two months cuz of her. is it his fault (we r 15) ? if it is or isnt can i dislike him for it? his mom has taught him she and my mom to intervene every time me and him have a problem with eachother, my mom goes along with it i hate it so much. most 15 year olds cant stand their parents. i cant stand mine more tham most, and he just luuuuuuuvs his mom. goes everywhere with her all weekend to the most stupid places like the beauty parlor and the supermarket. its like he is 4. i cant help but find very unnatractive, i mean not as just a opposite-gender attraction thing, also just if i was to be just friends with him. his dad is gone, i dont know where but still i mean he IS a mamas boy. is that an ok xcuse can i dislike him for it can i reject him for it HELP!!!!!!!!!

I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we are so serious we want to move in together. On Saturday he takes his grandmother to church and on Sunday has lunch with his family but I don't exsist at those times. When I call him his phone is off and only afterwards can I be with him. I've never met his family and he only tells them we were dating or not dating at all. He's avoiding the situation completely and I believe the reason we don't live together already because of his racist family. He's met my family and I come from an interracial family...so racism is not very big. Why do some families not understand that love is blind?
What can I do? Today I cried and slept all day because I'm so depressed about it and I refuse to see him until he talks to him mother most of all. Because she is the most controlling person.

On holidays he doesnt' spend anytime with me because he has to spend it with his family? HELP!!!!

My mom and I barely talk to each other. I sometimes feel like running away. We had numberous of fights together, and today seem like the one I alway remember in my life.
Okay, it was a nice day for my ballet lesson. My mom drop me off at the dance studio. I thought of my future as a real Prima Ballerina. Soon, it got ugly. I didn't finish some of my homework, and mom was mad, as usual. She told me to quit ballet because I wasn't studying to much. How could she do this to me? All those years of ballet? No way. But she won as usual. She actually was so mad that she tore my leotard, ballet shoes, a my skirt and through it into the trash can... I feel like ripping apart, into half... The life I always wanted, is gone... Now what? How do I make my mom and I tighter and be friend as it was when I was five? And how do I talk my friends about quiting ballet? How to I change my mother's mind...?

I'm in a race with another guy to win a girl's heart. i haven't know her for long, but i really really like this girl, and we have so much in common, but she could be falling for the other guy. i ask her out a by the begging of the school year, but she said that she didn't like to go out with guys at the begging of the school year,but she continually is flirting with me. the other guy has a girl, but likes this girl a little bit more then the girl he's going out with and knows her a lot more. i want to know her some more ,I'm telling her Monday ,we should start a new friendship, so we can get to know each other more and little bit later we can step up to the next level. can ya'll give me some advice, tips and thoughts.

Ok so heres what happend I had a group of girl friend and they would always talk crap about people and so finaly I got sick of it and wouldnt hang out with them when they were talking all this crap about a gril I didnt have any sort of issue with and so one of the grils took it aboun herself to tell ther outhe group meber that I was to busy for stoff and lieing to them saying I was talking all this crap about them and so now every time they see me they call me names like whore and ***** and I'm trying to figer out what i did wrong.I am allowed to pick my friends fro myself so why do thes girls that I have known for years pick a girl they have known for 3 and know that she talks crap about every on over me.

Okay, so here's my story guys.

So, there's this guy who I REALLY like and I think he likes me too. because he does all the signs that shows he likes me. For instance:
looking me in the eyes when he talks to me, gets really close to me, talks to me just to talk to me ( even for the stupidest reason), likes to touch me on my body (nowhere inappropiate but like he'll touch my arm or link arms with me), and he'll stare at me sometimes too loog, and always tease me (but cute tease).

so yeah. well I made the BIG mistake of telling my best friends and they all didn't say anything but then one of them CALLS him and tells him like "Oh yeah, she likes you. Do you like her?".

and he's all "I like her as a friend. she's cool and all".

so im a bit confused. i thought he liked me folks. why is he saying he doesn't like me? is it because he's afraid to share his feelings? he knows I like him now.

AND NOW, he won't talk to me because too many of my friends have been bothering him. bleh

But i just can't stand it when she always ask me to join their religion meetings that doesn't concern me and those meetings always make me feel awkward and uncomfortable. I have been with my husband now for almost 8 years, but we just recently got married. We have five children 14, 10, 10, 8, and 6. My two older childrens' father is not in the picture but his 2 older childrens' mother is. Our problem is is that there is constant fighting and ganging up on each other. I know it is common for children to fight, but it just has gotten out of control to the point where we end of arguing. I love him and his children very much, but I also love my children and I know it is wrong to have them grow up in an environment where there is stress and fighting from their parental figures. I need for this marriage to work but how can it. We have my stepsons 3-4 days a week usually. When they are here if they do something wrong, usually, they don't get in trouble even if I explain I think there should be consequences for their actions. But they don't get any, so I feel disrespected. Also, my 14 year old stepson and I just don't see eye to eye but I want to. What to do?

in the 9th grade i had a huge crsh on this guy,he too had a crush on me,but when we found out we just avoided each other.we've been avoiding each other for 2 and a half years! he transferred to a different school in aug. and i havnt seen him since.until yesterday i was with my 5 friends and he appears.he gives all 5 of them individual greetings,they all laff and joke with him while i just stand there,mute.he offered 2 of them a ride home and then left.the whole time he was there i was tellin myself to say sumthin!anything!but for some reason i just couldn't,and afterwards i still couldn't say any thing it was like i was in a state of shock!Why didn't i speak to him?Why didn't he speak to me?Does he still have feelings for me?if i ever see him again what shall i say?What shall i do?
