Ok, so one day my friends were laughing and I heard my name being mentioned. They wouldn't tell me what it was so I went undercover and listened in on them. It was about me so I think I have a right to know! Anyway, I found out that they were laughing at me because this crazy guy likes me. All my friends think he's weird and obnoxious. I hang out with guys a lot because they make me laugh. I really get to know them. I think he's nice, funny, and very sweet. If I go up to him and tell him I like him, my friends would make fun of me and they'd most likely ditch me alotta the time. I don't want to lose my friends but I think the guys really sweet. What should I do? Please don't make fun of me or anything like that because this is an important situation.

i dont think your friends will abandon you, they may poke a bit of fun at you, but if they are true friends they will accept your choice and respect you

Your situation is a cute one. It kinda makes me laugh. Ok, next time you ask a question, ask this one..."Women, how many of you have boyfriends/husbands that are the biggest geeks/nerds that your girfriends make fun of them...."
I bet you'd get a lot of responses of women saying "yes".
Its not about what they think...its about what YOU think right? Pretty soon after you've been dating a while, you'd start wishing for that guy who'd not lie, steal, or cheat on you.
If you have feelings for a nerd....he'd be the one that girls would run away from......alieviating that problem.
Your girlfriends arent suppose to like your boyfriend.......

Most of your school friends who are laughing at the nerds will end
up in a few years working for the nerds who end up owning and
running the companies....
Nerds don't end up as alcoholics, drug addicts, crimminals and in prison...Nerds are not wife abusers..
Be nice to nerds...

first, if your friends ditch you just because you like a guy then they arent your real friends, so just go for the guy. but if you still want them not to ditch you then just tell the guy you like him, but dont tell your friends, and make sure he doesnt tell anyone either.
