I've been with a beautiful girl for the past year and a half. She is a very independant girl and in her past relationship she took care of her bf for 4 years before he left her. She met me and told me that she had no feelings for him and we started our relationship. I showered her with love and material things and gave her everything because giving her things made me happy. She recently started feeling that something was missing in our relationship and she broke up with me. I felt like I gave her the world and now I'm completely broken. She told me that she wished she had reconciled her broken heart from her previous relationship before she allowed me to get too close to her. She said she feels like something is missing in her life and she's going to seek professional help. She told me that she doesn't want to get back with her ex and she just doesn't want a relationship right now. She still tells me she cares deeply about me and needs to figure out who she is. Should I wait or moveon

There is this one girl that I really like, and we went out after she broke up with her boyfriend, Dan. She then broke up with me, just to start going back out with Dan. Then she broke up with him, and started going out with this other guy, Mark. But then he broke up with her because she was "too emotional" (I find that in a relationship, you should be always supporting each other and not abandoning your love, no matter what). Now she was single for a bit, and I told her how I felt about her later, and we hung out and got really close, but she texted me one night saying, "I'm sorry, but I don't really like you that way..." It was the first day that we actually kissed each other. I have been heartbroken ever since. And now she's going out with DAN again! I haven't stopped thinking about her since the day that we hung out, and that was about 2 weeks ago.

My son is 6 weekd old and he has Down Syndrome. Tomorrow we have our first IFSP meeting. At his evaluation we asked for a speech therapist to come. She seemd a little put out and did not quite know why she was there. She said there is nothing she can do until the baby is 1 years old. The research I have read says she should start to do "message therapy" and stuff like that right away. Any ideas on what I can tell the speech therapist so she knows what I am talking about and doesn't try to "get away with" not serving my son?

Any ideas? How did you celebrate yours?
Was thinking of a party but everyone's having one so wouldn't be that memorable. Would like to go to a club with friends mayb but most would be under 18. Do they ID you if you're on a birthday guestlist? Any ideas of where to go (in london) or what to do?

I'v got untill January to decide. But i'd like to sort it now!!!! lol

are very VERY close! It was only when I stayed over at my friend's house that I discovered how much! I walked in my friend's bedroom to find her talking to her brother while he was getting changed. He was naked with everything on display but neither of them batted an eyelid! I was completely embaressed made my excuses and went home. Am I over reacting? or am I not the only one who thinks this is wrong?! Help!

i have a friend whom i thought i knew. i have known him for 11 years but we were not together all those years. we seperated for a few years and recently started back talking in the last three to four.

anyway, i helped him through a lot. up and downs in and outs and never asked for anything, just satisfied that he was happy. i learned from him how not to be with people and to appreciate what you have in your life by hearing his mistakes.

now, my son has been in a bit of trouble the last few months and he(my so called friend) has decided since the last stunt that he needs to back off. color me surprised but is that not the antithesis of friend.

my question in my rambling is should i be hurt or relieved. it really does not bother me as much as it would a normal person. is this permanent or will i crash eventually.

please give me your input.

I have a friend on mine who is a househusband/SAHD. His wife is an attorney who just made partner and is making some very good money. He is home all-day. He is not keeping up with the housework at all. Laundry is piling up. Dishes are getting stacked in the sink. Dinner is NOT ready when she gets in the door. Clutter all over the place.

The children are being very well-cared for - but all are in school.

He is home watching soap operas and playing video games while they are in school.

He is INSISTING on a housekeeper and feels they can afford it. She feels there is no need for this because he should be taking a hand at homemaking.

On top of it, she is cleaning up and cooking dinner.

What should be done? Should she get him a housekeeper? Should he be doing the housework?
